Vince Vaughn - 6'4" (I made Mr Man stand next to him in an airport to verify so I am most sure of this one)
Jamie Foxx - 5'10" or 5'11"
Jerry and Charlie O'Connell - both over 6' (6'2" if I had to guess)
Dave Grohl - 5'11"
Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters' drummer) - 6'
David Lee Roth (hey, at least I'm not duplicating the efforts of others who see "A Listers") - 5'8"
Alicia Keys - 5'4" or 5'5"

OK, I can do this too:
Paul Newman - 5'7" tops
Carrie Fischer - 5'4" tops
Elle MacPherson - 5'10" at least
Kate Moss - 5'7" maybe 5'8"
Michael Jackson (ew) - 5'9"
Billy Crystal - 5'7" or so
Kevin Kline [now there's an A-lister...] - 5'10"
Phoebe Cates (they live in the neighborhood) - 5'7"ish
Michelle Pfeiffer - 5'5"
Robert Redford - 5'7" (if that)
Bernie Williams - 6'4" and HUGE (much bigger than he appears on tv)
Liam Neeson - 6'2 at least
Natasha Richardson - 5'7"
Anna Wintour - 5'3"
Laura Linney - 5'6"
Julianne Moore - 5'5" (used to live in my building)
I can't think of any more right now, but I will, dammit!

I can't remember if he is tall, but when I lived in DC I was good friends with an OK legislative aide. there was a happy hour called
"Tastes of Oklahoma" to promote state foods. I'm sure these are regular free food for the younger staff. About an hour into it here comes GGG's idol-Teddy- born a multi-millionaire, now on a free food graze.
As i say, I was not impressed by height, or lack thereof. The main impression was of a very efficient eating machine.

There is nothing wrong with being a very efficient eating machine, if that's what nature intended for you. Are you trying to impose your Ken doll cookie cutter standards on everyone? Do you make your son cry when he eats at a free buffet?

Yes. As sure as an ultrasound can be.
Our leading name candidate is well in the top 100, and I never thought I would do that, but I like it, and it works with the middle and last names, and it's very old-fashioned rather than Everwood-character trendy, so there I go, doing something I never thought I would do.
Further, as the bearer of a not highly popular name (it's actually climbing now, to my amusement), it ain't all it's cracked up to be. Many days in elementary school I wished my name were Jennifer. All the Jennifers in my class were so pretty.

Geraldo Rivera: short and hairy
Jerry Seinfeld (pre-Seinfeld): short, thin, single, and neat, and yes, has a matter of fact, he was wearing size 31 Levi's, with a tucked in, button-down shirt tucked in
Kirk Cameron: medium
Kirk Cameron's wife: taller than Kirk, and very pretty
Sting: short, and taut, and lithe, with really piercing eyes and a quick smile
Tracy Ullman: she was sitting down, but her hair was shiny, and she was cute
Joe Lockhart: doughy and not short
Ari Fleischer: short and thin and not hot
Ari Fleischer's wife: hot, in a shake-your-head, "she's procreating with HIM?" kind of way
Greta Van Susteren and Wolf Blitzer: exactly like you'd expect. Greta was not vain at all. A big tennis fan. Wolf was quite vain.
Alan Greenspan: short and thin and hunched and old and as muppet-like as those WSJ drawings would lead you to believe
Some SEC dude who left the year before last: fat and hairy and wearing ill-fitting clothes, and eating with his elbows on the table.
Some NBC news guy named David somebody: tall, thin, and very speedy in his movements
Anderson Cooper: short, thin, bad skin, but still cute, and a little harried
By short, I mean, not as tall as I am. Medium means maybe about as tall as I am. Not short means maybe taller than I am. It's all about me and my height, you see.
I'm sure I've seen lots of other famous for Washington types, but I either don't recognize them, or can't recall their names, or otherwise don't give a shit.

This is my favorite post in a while.

I had warm flourless chocolate cake last night. Yum. I also had a beet salad that featured pistachio-encrusted goat cheese. Pretty good.
Now I'm hungry. Damn!

I'm willing to settle this by final arbitration before Spanky. Spanky, of course, is good friends with Arnold, and so has undoubtedly been out chasing skirts with the entire Kennedy clan.

He apepars shorter in these:
but he might have lost some height at Chappaquiddick:
