That would be a bad move. IMO. Plus they are on the road and it is the Monday night game. Don't do it.

I want to buy some cashmere sweaters. Perhaps short sleeve turtleneck, crew neck, and a v neck or two.
Where would you recommend? Blue Fly? tse? Ann Taylor? Brooks? Land's End?
At a loss. Cashmere tends to be delicate and I'd prefer something well made.

You cannot, cannot put Land's End and Tse in the same sentence. It's just two different worlds, and the prices you pay will probably reflect the style and quality. That said, I have some fabulous like 4-ply cashmere that I got at Barneys ages ago, a slightly less thick one from Brooks Brothers, and tons of other, lower-ply cashmere from a variety of places. What to get depends on what you want - ply, style, etc. You won't get the same cuts at Land's End as you do at Barney's, most likely, thogh the Land's End might be sturdier. I've gotten some decent stuff from Saks that has held up well. BB has been hit-or-miss. As for Blue Fly, if you're at all hard to fit, I'd say no.

Lessons Learned by RT So You Don't Have To.
Actually, I wasn't really the one who learned this, since I thougth it was a bad idea from the start, but I needed to warn everyone that Gatorade plus vodka sucks ass.
Back to the drawing board.

I recently bought some cashmere/silk blend sweaters from the Victoria's Secret catalog for like $39. I'm surprised at how soft they are and how nicely they launder. And for a girl who lives in South Florida, the price was exactly right.

As a girl not happy with the current dysfunction between her income and her preferred lifestyle, I appreciate the tip.

Blue Fly seems to specialize in xxxxsmall.
So what is the preferred ply? I know TSE is much higher quality.
Does Loro Piana, they have cashmere, correct?
Barneys sounds good. do the high end stores carry house brands? What about Bloomingdales for cashmere?
I have a Brooks Brothers v neck camel heather sweater.
Has anyone *tried* Charles Tyrwhitt or Thomas Pink cashmere?

There was a taste test last night using about six or seven flavors. All sucked.
My father's comment was "This is a waste of bad vodka."

Awesome
Gina Lollobrigida, 79, is marrying her 45-year-old boyfriend. What's the best is they've been dating 22 years.

Preferred ply is whatever you want/how you want to use it. The greater the ply, the thicker it is.
Is Henri Bendel still there? They were always known for sweaters.
