Actually, now I remember some details of the dinner. It had come out that he was pretty recently separated from his wife (whom he'd also met in high school but I don't think she was the Boe designator). He launched into a tirade where he started "teasing" me for being polite to him. It quickly started to feel like a bad Dr. Phil episode where he was re-enacting his abusive rapport with his estranged wife. He caught himself and apologized but it was a little psycho, I must say.

2. Well, I didn't cut and paste, but I did occasionally share with friends. In some ways, the worst emails were also the best emails.

Why did he go by "Boe" and not "Beau"?

Ick. Do guys really think this is going to work? Once you know someone, yes, but not a blind date. Blech.

Because he was a dumbfuck and I should have known just from that one fact that I would want nothing to do with him, at least romantically/sexually.

Does the answer change if they had sex on that first blind date? Not that I'm saying they did. Just curious.

If you had been attracted to him you would have printed out and framed that email. It's like getting a dozen roses -- from a creepy guy it is creepy, from someone you like it is sweet.
Or were you offended because he didn't use the proper terminology? (TITS!!!!!)

One hopes that if the personality match works, the threshold for a line that will "work" will be low.
