I would say the bending over was pretty bad, but the worst was when one called me late at night to ask me to meet him so we could "discuss my paper." I didn't go.

There was the one who fucked me. He was, of course, a lit professor.

And then there was the other one, who, when as a senior I desperately tried to get into his full philosophy class because I needed two more credits to graduate on time, said "Why don't you drop by my office tonight, say around 9, so we can see what we can work out." His meaning was clear. He was also friendly with the other professor, and I wondered if they talked about their conquests.

Despite the fact that he was a silver fox, I signed up for a horseback riding class (really!) instead of dropping by his office. It was a very cold winter, and the riding instructor was a very hostile woman, so I regretted my choice.

While in business school, I had a professor who routinely called me on the phone and drove by my apartment. He was, unfortunately, also my faculty advisor and I was his graduate assistant. I was counting on his to write recommendations for law school.

One night, while some friends were over, the phone rang. I looked at the caller ID, saw it was him, and let the machine get it. He hung up and continued to call every five minutes for over 2 hours. Several classmates were there and freaking out over the calls. Many suggested I report him to the Dean. In the end, I never said a word about it, he wrote glowing recommendations and always gave me A's, and I got into law school.
