It's not a game of counting up the number of sources on each side of an issue. Condi (i.e., State), among others, is supposed to look at all the evidence and come up with an analysis of the most likely situation. I am not looking to 40 guys on the street. I am looking at what Israeli intelligence was telling us. I will give them more credence for on the ground intelligence in the ME than I give State (or Condi).

In fairness to my state Party, the Dems in Maryland had nothing to do with the minstrel depiction of Steele. That blog is run by an African-American from New York whose politics are of the "progressive" persuasion. I don't think he's even a Democrat.

Steele is well-liked in Maryland - seems to me like a really good guy whose politics are slightly misguided.
