Keep in mind that I will insist on complete reciprocity from anyone who answers this question. And that I have very high standards for hotness in others, i.e., you will not be graded on a curve.
That is all.

Look, I'll agree with you that when Sidd said, "There's no way I'm touching that," it was a tad indelicate. But that's no reason to get quite so defensive.

Contraceptives
If there were a contraceptive out there that - is completely non-surgical.
- is long-lasting, can be effective for at least 10 years.
- has no side effects more worrisome than a slight swelling.
- works. (has been only one unplanned pregnancy -- and in that instance, the birth control wasn't administered properly.) and
- is reversible.
would the men of the board be willing to try it? would the women of the board be willing to trust someone who said they were on it?

Sure, but not until they release the reversal antidote, and confirm it works. Otherwise it would be like getting stuck in one of those shrinking machines that then gets destroyed. Oh the humanity.

yeah, and after reading the article more carefully, a swelling that "goes away after a few weeks."
Dude, you (you, RT) need to include the small print.

Is the anti-fur movement dying out?
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/06/fashion/06FASH.html
[Fur most popular among under-35 set, so long as it isn't "Dynasty" fur.]
Also, not that this has been news for about 2 years, but pashmina must be totally out because they are being remaindered on e-bay for $9.99 per or less (the cashmere 30x80 inch ones), which is now officially cheaper than I can pick up a fake acrylic one in Chinatown. (OK, maybe not with S&H, but still.) However, if you're still looking for an airplane snuggly, I suggest heading over there. There's almost no competition with the holidays just past.

We women are so lucky that none of the methods of birth control that we have used over the years have done any harm or carried any risks.

Yes, but have any of them made your balls swell? Scrotal swelling? Enough so I could use them as a chair?

I dunno. If it makes my "swelling" only "slight" I'd consider that side effect pretty damn worrisome...

Average Joe?
If the first one was Average Jew, this one is Average Guido. Guys named Donato Ventresca and Fredo Lo Bianco who work as a sewer contractor and a cement contractor, respectively? Are you kidding? Reads like Mario Puzo.
From the previews, it looks like the buff guys will be more prick-ish than the first round's pretty-and-vapid-but-pretty-gentle, really spoilers. Also, Larissa makes out with more of the "Average" guys than Melana did.
tm
P.S. My measurements say I should be a 40C, not a 38C, but bras in that size don't feel right.
P.P.S. The first number in a woman's measurements is her bust measurement, not her breast band size. Don't listen to dtb, TM.

Well, you see, we've been through all that now and the risks are well understood. It usually takes a generation or two to really understand the risks, so I'm not yet ready to believe the new method until it has been used by a generation of Indians.
Besides, it does require getting "stuck" in a rather uncomfortable place.
[But on a serious note, my first concern in birth control is risk to any baby that inadvertantly results; this SOUNDS low risk on that score, as opposed to the pill. So my answer is yes, I would use it. OUCH!]
