If Hillary had practiced that a few years ago, then maybe Bill wouldn't have had to get Monica to blow him.
Of course, then the Wahhabi Repubs (y'know, the ones whose president has been sooooooo forthcoming about his drug use) would be left with only "he didn't say he used hash brownies even though he was never asked!" Unless they want to talk about being the Clinton Admin getting rid of the deficit while building the world's strongest military (and keeping terrorist attacks well below the level we are seeing today despite the hundreds of billions Bush has blown to "make America safer").

Have I mentioned lately that DeLay needs a muzzle?
|
Last summer, I shared some post-closing time beers poolside with some members of DeLay's staff, who were visiting a neighbor and dear friend of mine. We were all too wrecked for discussion of serious issues, so we joked and talked about politics and political strategy in a general way.
They agreed with me that Tom's appearance could be rather harsh, and I tried to convince them that it would be good for Tom's career for him to receive a makeover on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I could tell they were intrigued, but all I could get them to commit to in the end was to try to work with Tom on his hair.
I never thought of the muzzle. Perhaps they could borrow yours?

Because the government isn't supressing the latter, just the former.
Because no one bombed the WTC, burned people in Fallujah, or beheaded prisoners in my name.

That being said, any further release will only serve to feed the passions of the mob - and that is precisely why we're being told the other videos are being hidden from view
|
Of course, further release just might keep people from claiming that it's all about "panties on the head."
But we wouldn't want all that pesky truth getting in the way of our hyperbole, would we?

Will you please learn to spell "coerced"?
I don't usually timmy like this, but this is the 3d or 4th time you've done that in the past couple of days, so it's not a typo.

I think she was practicing. On Reno and Shalala's boobies. Which I could respect, being a succler myself, except for the retch factor.

He could have been more forthcoming about his rape of Juanita or sexual abuse of Paula or Kathleen et al. Or at the least he could have less forthcoming in introducing false pleadings before a federal judge. Rule of law? What rule of law??!?!?

You are delusional-I think you are spending too much time in the vinyards. This canard has already been fully disproved here. Let's talk about how he destroyed our intelligence capabilities instead.

Certainly, there were more non-wartime acts of terrorism against US interests and on US soil during the Clinton years than during W's term. The only thing standing between daily suicide bombers at WalMart is Bush. And Cheney. And Ridge.

Sidd, the harm might extend beyond who wins arguments on this board.

And the horrible traffic. Plus, even terrorists love WalMart's everyday low prices.

Interesting use of the modifier, Pensky, considering that according to the President's definition, we have been at war since 9/12/01.

Looks like Florida has finally solved the felon list problem, by getting rid of the list. It appears as though only 0.1% of the names on the most recent attempt at a felon list were Hispanic, in a state where 20% of the population is of Hispanic origin.
This may seem innocuous at first, but Hispanic voters in Florida tend to lean Republican; I read something recently that said 80% of Cuban-Americans voted for Bush in 2000.
Hank, it's "administrative errors" like this (after there was already one major screwup with this list) and the State Department terrorist report that make those of us on the other side of the fence wonder, against our own better instincts, about how coincidental it is that GWB's Nat Guard records disappeared. I realize it seems like conspiracy theory to you, but these kind of mistakes are out of character for you Repubs. It's the Dems who are supposed to be the ivory tower PhD types, the guys that may be book smart and can engage in a scintillating discussion of Max Weber but can't successfully shop for a barbecue without making three trips to Safeway because the first two times they forgot to buy charcoal. You Repubs are supposed to be the businessmen, the administrators, the solid guys that get things done right. Making an accurate list of felons or terror attacks should right up your alley. And yet again we hear "Ooops, we made a mistake again, and in our own favor too....what are the odds?"
But on the plus side for the repubs, they still have the unrecountable electronic voting machines in Florida. They're not made by GOP subsidiary Diebold, but maybe that is a good thing after all these other gaffes lately.

Larry, remember I go for small victories. I wouldn't hope to convince you guys that Bush isn't crooked. On the records disappearing, my point was in happened in 1996*. I know the Bushies were plotting the Iraq war back then, but even you guys can't propose they'd have the foresight to sneak into the Pentagon and destroy records that might come up in the 2004 re-election, can you?
* Clinton was in charge. Building the worlds greatest military at the very same time.
