Awfully haughty for someone who thought Austin would make the finals on Project Runway. Your attitude just makes me pissed off at Mr. Man.

Male Monkeys Like Porn

Male monkeys will "pay" to view pictures of female monkeys' butts. They "pay" by way of accepting less juice in return for viewing pix of monkey tail than pix of other things. http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/7...0,00180021.htm

what doesn't make you pissed off at Mr Man? spoiler space needed? probably not, but I've been known to be a week behind in my tv viewing. you're probably safe as long as barely doesn't watch this one.

Single Stigma

New poll says there's more stigma attached to being 30+ and single than 30+ and divorced. http://www.usatoday.com/printedition...over14.art.htm

The post before that one was much more interesting, as it was far less predictable.

100K is not impressive. Now 7K -- that's impressive.

Needless to say, I blame Hank.

Revised prediction

I'd like to revise my prediction about the NHL. I now think there will be a season in 2005-05*, and the Stanley Cup will remain property of the NHL (but not the Tampa Bay Lightning, for too much longer). I think this season will be quite short, perhaps 25 games. I think the NHL, if it had any imagination, would have an exhibition season followed by a kick-ass elimination tournament with all teams involved, perhaps using different rules (4-4?) or formats (best two periods out of three?) to re-ignite fan interest.

I think more than one team will deliberately tank this season to try to get Sidney Crosby.

I think the Leafs will not win the Cup, though it would be interesting to see whether the celebration would be more restrained than we all figure it will be if it happened in a short BS goofy season.

Prediction: Canucks over Devils in the Stanley Cup - Naslund wins Conn Smythe.

*the season formerly known as 2004-05.

I DO watch, but lucky for him, I'm caught up. I think a one week rule for spoilers is good. If you really love a show, you'll make sure you see it sometime during the week after it airs.

It's the people who post spoilers the morning after the episode airs that piss me off. Those people I could happily skewer.
