Before I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago, I always assumed it was Rob Lowe who banged Andrew McCarthy's mom. Seriously, if I were a rich, dissatisfied, married beauty looking for unskilled but staminatic meat, I wouldn't pick Andrew McCarthy. The bug eyes are creepy.

Also, his character was supposed to be 17, and not very experienced. Sstopping the elevator was overkill.

Rob Lowe is just adorable in that movie. The only one I think I've ever liked him in. When he gets all pissed off when he finds out that Andrew McCarthy (I totally agree, creepy and not sexy) is doing his mom, I just want to give him a big hug. And a blow job or something.

Edited to note that I first watched that movie at summer camp the year it came out. An excellent camp movie.

I think that was the first R-rated movie I ever saw. I may only remember it because when I saw it, the mom and stepfather of the friends whose house I was at were very obviously having sex in the next room (the door was locked, blah blah) IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON and I was truly shocked.
