Anyway, apropos of Sebby, in honor of the political season, I recently re-read what I think is Dr. Hunter S. Thompson's finest work -- "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail 1972."
It reminded me that, on a good day, our own Utterer of Foul Truths brings a little bit of gonzo journalism to the FB.

Shark Hunt beats it. "The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved" was his high water mark. Its too bad he's gotten fat, lazy and rich. In his prime, he could really filet the current crop of liars.

Responses vary. Mine did not involve coffee. Incidentally, I take mine with cream.

Hank, what are you doing here? Now I know how Sequels must feel when Coltrane's roommate walks in.

It was an experiment in breaking the board.
Congratulations, Coltrane, it worked!

Worst Drives
The Trenton, NJ post has caused flashback to awful experiences, not ncs-like, rather, of the worst drives I've taken.
Now, I-75 in Florida is a horrible stretch of sameness for hours and hours, but nothing compares to the drive to Newark Airport from NYC, which resembles the LotR scene where the orcs were being made.
Also making my list of worst drives:
Any road in Mississippi
I-10 in Louisiana past Sliddell

I share your disappointment. John Stevens is definitely falling squarely into the Clay Aiken fan base, so we might be seeing him for a long, long time.
I cannot imagine who may get through next week. If they did it as they did last year, the fans pick one and the judges pick three, so it is truly anyone's game.

Loved John Stevens and hate CLay so I dont think so. He might get the teenage girls, but he also gets the oldtimers like me and str8. He is gonna be around a REALLY long time. Why do you hate whitiey so much anyway EO?

More tryouts

I've never even seen the "WHAT!" WHAT!" WHAT"..."OKAAAAAAAAAAAY!!" guy in real life and it's still fucking hilarious. I knew Chappelle was a genius when I saw the underrated Half Baked, but he has transcended to places unknown. Pretty soon, he will disappear and join the Mayans.

Personally I like when keeping it real goes wrong.
In addition, for those of you who didn't make the cut for the Apprentice 2, here's another shot...
Quote:
UPN said Wednesday it will launch a new “dramality” series tentatively called the “Missy Elliott Project." A group of aspiring rap stars will tour the country with Elliott, UPN said, competing in weekly elimination challenges and meeting industry bigwigs while the show’s cameras chronicle their every move. The show will be produced by the executives behind CBS’ hit reality franchise “Big Brother.” Open casting sessions have been scheduled this month for Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Arlington, and Dallas.
|
So you people in those cities can tryout. I'd be interested to know what kind of challenges you could have while on the road for elimination?

That's too bad. Workplace sex can be extremely convenient.

I am self-hating because he is a non-original throwback who cannot sing? Caucasian, please.
If only they had a "Connick Idol," he might make the top twelve. Like Clay, his primary audience is 12 year old girls for whom he is a safe crush. It has nothing to do with singing ability. See Clay, N'Sync and AK's music collection.
