Unfortunately, she requires me to pinch the cow creamer (though Modern Dutch, certainly!) for Uncle Tom's collection, which is quite impossible because Pop Watkyn thinks he convicted me of being a bag snatcher, when in reality he merely fined me five quid for stealing a policeman's helmet on Bosher Street on the night of the annual boatrace between the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and if he catches me, there is no way he will allow his daughter Madeline to marry my chum Gussie Fink-Nottle or Stiffy Byng to pair with Stinker Pinker. All is not well at Totleigh Towers, let me tell you.
