Why? What's Mrs. Tomato Basil telling you?

I would guess 4 to 5 days is average. But I've never done a poll.

While he is waiting, there are some amusing books on punctuation and grammar available now:

"The Deluxe Transitive Vampire: A Handbook of Grammar for the Innocent, the Eager and the Doomed" by Karen Gordon

"The Well Tempered Sentence: A Punctuation Handbook for the Innocent, the Eager and the Damned" by Karen Gordon

I have both of these and they are much more fun than Strunk & White. The illustrations are very gothic -- if BRC doesn't have these books, she should.

In the interests of protecting his wife from his wrath, I hold that the average is 10-12 days, from first spotting to absolute last smidgen of anything that might have blood cells in it.

But I could be lying in an attempt to protect the possibly beleagured Mr. VanNuys.

Ew. It just occurred to me that if a follow-up question is whether it's normal for there to be bits of basil appearing in with the tomato, the answer is an emphatic NO. Take her to the dr.

Edited to add taunt.

According to Maxim Magazine, the correct answer to this question is (1) who the fuck cares and (2) pass me another beer.

I'm sure that JAMA and, say, Cosmo, may offer an alternate answer.

In the spirit of blithely ignoring such rules (hi RIAA!), I give you top british baby names for 2003

There were actually 91 parents (or sets of parents) drunk enough to name their daughters 'Chardonnay'.
