You have inspired me. Let me know how this goes - I am about to search for lessons in my area. Then we can meet at a Hookah bar somewhere and show our stuff.

You've been going to work naked all this time?

I buy stuff off of Bluefly all the time, and I'm 6'4" on the internet.

My cashmere cardigans from Lord & Taylor always serve me well. I have cashmere hoodies and sweaters from Loehmann's too, that cost about $20 each and have held up very well. Don't pill nearly as much as the cashmere cardigan I have from Bendels.

Same here, and I just weighed myself at the gym this morning and I've hit the 145 pound milestone. Sorry for posting my weight on the internet, I just cannot believe I weigh 145 pounds. I weighed 120 last year.

I never knew this until just now, but I want a cashmere hoodie.

So what is the preferred ply? I know TSE is much higher quality.

Does Loro Piana, they have cashmere, correct?

Barneys sounds good. do the high end stores carry house brands? What about Bloomingdales for cashmere?

I have a Brooks Brothers v neck camel heather sweater.

Has anyone *tried* Charles Tyrwhitt or Thomas Pink cashmere?
Bloomingdales house brand cashmere pills worse than most. In my experience.

Mmmm, cashmere hoodies!

I was going to add to ppnyc - those TSE-type things, despite the outrageous cost, can be way more delicate than the typical person not sending everything to Mme Paulette's on a constant basis may want to undertake. I think I went in that store a million times and could just never pull the trigger. I don't regret it.

Another option ifyou insist on high end things - are those high-end outlets still around, north of the city? I did really well there once or twice. Helps to be either quite small or quite large, though, for stock.

ps - agree with ncs on Bloomingdales - I have some wool sweaters from their house brand and I don't love them.

Is Henri Bendel still there? They were always known for sweaters.
Bendel is still here. I really only go there for makeup and for Fekkai. I will check it out. I'm much more comfortable at Saks for some reason.

There is a TSE outlet at Woodbury Commons. Also, does Theory have cashmere?
