This is very wrong and I am outraged that the Pentagon could be so stupid.
Everyone knows that if the female soldiers started to fool around it would help morale, not hurt it.

As if there weren't already 8 million reasons to hate Microsoft
I just received a spam email from Microsoft suggesting that we all "Share More Photos This Holiday".
I was not aware that MLK Day was a big holiday for photo taking.

Upon further reflection, perhaps Microsoft is endorsing the idea of Breasticle Day?

I know I'll have nightmares where I'm inducted, and when I meet my platoon there's Taxwonk or GGG.

Spin classes are not gay.
Except for all the gay people who teach and attend them.
I'm not sure if this should go to the politics board, but I just read this and it makes me deeply, deeply sad:
The president likes to give people nicknames. He has called Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, "Pootie-Poot,'' while aide Karen Hughes gets "High Prophet.''

Flower, I read this line, and thought of you!
The wistful wish of the square to become a hipster can't help but be sad.
(spree: WaPo review of book about American English. Doesn't sound like a must-read. The review caught my eye because the headline used the term "hep cat" and of course I thought of our dear Sebastian.)

That's pretty cold, man. Especially this part:- The cougar, described as a male weighing approximately 150 pounds, was spotted at 6:09 a.m. in the 900 block of Laurel Glen Drive. It reportedly crossed an undisclosed property before slinking back into a wooded area.
Palo Alto police Detective Kara Apple said the sighting was reported by a credible witness with "wildlife experience."

So, Slave was there too.

if he was, and Paigow home-schooled him, that would explain a lot.
