No idea who this Will Mellor is (but he had a picture labelled "risque", so I had to look). I like his quote:
Quote:
"If you ask my friends or people I work with they'll say 'He always gets his cock out at parties.'"

Obviously this is more acceptable the more objectively attractive you are. I'd look at his cock if he whipped it out at a party.

So I have tivoed Project Runway and have seen all but I think two of the episodes (and not in any discernible order). I saw your friend get tossed yesterday. Sorry. And I skipped all prior convos about this show as I wasnt watching but as I am starting to design my own fabulous shit I have decided to watch. What is her story anyway?
And dont tell me who wins since you probably know.
Oh, and I have said this before, and while Heidi Klum is a lovely lady witha smoking, though artificlaly enhanced, body, I dont think the face ranks amongst the most beautiful i have ever seen. I think some of those models on the show are better looknig than her for example. I mean, she is very pretty but not supermodel pretty. does a great body witha good face and the ability to photograph well warrant supermodel status alone? Because I think Olga, Joy, and Julia amongst others are way prettier. (though Olga seems to have brownish teeth).
But this show rocks. I have put if over American Idol on conflicts so I avent seen AI at all and I dont miss it.

So he's attractive? I'm thinking I'll get the big red flashing warning screen if I click on RT's link.

What do you want to know about her? http://www.popgurls.com/article_show.php3?id=529
She's been in Houston forever, though I can't remember why she ended up here. She's had a boutique as long as I've known her. She bought a House near the corner of Westheimer and Shephard about five or so years ago, and lives on the top floor and has her shop on the bottom. Her workshop is in the back, and she (thank god) is doing more mass production than custom work these days. Her detail work is unbelievable, and I love seeing her clothes. She drinks like a fish, swears like a sailor, and is an awesome person to hang out with.
I met her through my brother about 8 years ago. He met her through one of his boyfriends, and when it came time to split friends after the inevitable breakup, he claimed Vanessa. She's been like family ever since. She's single, totally devoted to her career, crazy, and a good friend.

I guess I was wondering what road she took to end up as a shop owner and presumably a designer of everyting in it? Does she make everything singlehandedly or does she emply cheap labor to sew?
I am not thinking of an exit strategy or anything.

Oh, hell no. The reason that she ended up leaving the show is that she hasn't sewn anything in years. She's purely a designer. She can, of course, do her own sewing if she absolutely needs to, but she has a staff that does the work, and I think she farms some of the bigger jobs out. Just like an architect doesn't do the woodworking in a house he designs, she doesn't manufacture the clothes she designs.
She went to design school in London, and I think she found that the best way she could design what she wanted was to do her own thing and hope it sold. In a market like Houston, where there aren't as many designers as, say, New York or London, the audience is a bit more captive and desperate. There are millions of designers in other places, but not here.

TITS
I was running on the treadmill this morning watching ADAPTATION on HBO. I didn't remember the movie very well from my theatrical viewing experience. Anyways, I'm like "there's Kitty from Arrested Development (I had to look up her name, it's Judy Greer)," and then a second later, I'm like "Wow, Kitty's got great tits!"
So two lessons:
1. Kitty's got great tits, so watch Adaptation again (though they're on the small side, so if you're the type who needs the DDs, she might not do much for you . . . )
2. Any women with tits in Kitty's league should contact me post-haste.
Lest I be accused of overhyping Kitty's tits, let me add that I would not go so far as Harold & Kumar's neighbors went to describe Katie Holmes' tits:
"You guys missed Katie Holmes' tits."
"How were they?"
"You know the holocaust?"
"Yeah?"
"Well picture the exact opposite of that."

Why? So Tomato-Basil can take a cast of them for her plastic surgeon? Are you dating again? Because it's possible I will be on the west coast at some point this spring, and I think we could have a LOT of FUN.

Fuck Carlie man. German short haired pointers are ass dogs. I was pulling for the Sussex Spaniel or the Brittany in the Sporting Group, and then once it got to Best in Show, I was feelin' love for the Bloodhound (from Topanga) or the Pekingese (what's cuter than that guy?)
I was sad to see no Papillon/Dachsund mutts represented. I'm going to have to breed them and get them accepted as a recognized breed. Poxies Uber Alles.

Interesting. So did she just draw the pics, hire some coolies with ehr own funds and risk that they would sell and build it from there?

It was in Texas, I assume that she hired wetbacks or some other kind of Texas-appropriate ethnic group and didn't get any coolies.

Site, please? I have a friend who thinks he's the shit whom I'd like to insult.
Is Bob even Bob anymore? I thought he was now Jerrob.
"Now I'd like to do a 32 minute Johnny B. Good>Corrina>Truckin."
Heidi's boobs are real. They're just that fucking good. I love that chick. She even seems nice. Not a brain surgeon, but really down to earth.
Seal is sitting around thinking "How in the fuck did I land this shit? I'm almost as obscure as Big Fucking Country!"*
* Which makes the suicide of BC's singer all that more tragic. had he only waited a few years, he might have found himself fucking Gisele and opening for the Eagles.

Isnt a coolie an immigrant who works for like twentyfive cents on the dollar? is that a derogatory term? If so, how does Cooley GOdward get away with it?

I was rooting for the Great Pyrennes, but Carlie was the better performer last night. I kept expecting to see Christopher Guest as the bloodhound's handler. I hate Pekingese.
