Maybe your imaginary friend was telling you "hey, it's not good for you to have not eaten lunch at 3 pm. You need to take better care of yourself."

If imaginary friend had commented on how really it's important to eat, and that it should be a priority to eat at least SOMETHING on particularly bad days because hunger does no one any good, and had gotten blown off, I might conclude that imaginary friend had tired of fighting a losing battle.
Or, real food is more important to imaginary friend than the imaginary friends of imaginary friend are.
Look, I was really fucking hungry and nothing sounded appealing. I am sorry I was insensitive to your needs.
ETA expecting me to value people above food is like expecting TM to say polite nice things and leave out the truth after you meet him in Central of Grandness for the sole reason of having him evaluate your appearance. I mean, what board have you been reading?????

does it bug you that you're licking it from guys who were licking others when you first signed on? I mean it's one thing to do it to someone where you can say he's all powerful and thus arguably sexy- but now it's guys who you once saw licking it too- isn't that harder? Or is there a "we're all in this together" vibe that kicks in?

Who here did not guess that the imaginary friend was fringey? You just have a certain je ne sais quoi.

Anyone who has ever IMed with me could have identified me in ONE SECOND. Because I'm obsessed with lunch.
I meant sneakier in that I should have made "that's not helpful" about her (a la Not Bob) instead of confessing it was really that I felt she was not being helpful to me.

Go to the beat up Mexican place on Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica right next to the Marriott with the funny name. You are close enough you should go there whenever nothing motivates you, because once there you'll be motivated.

I'd think that my imaginary friend had a difficulty assessing time zone differences.

I am going to go get breakfast. Bagel and cream cheese, for the record. The bagel will be sesame seed or poppy seed.
