Not where I come from...

Back in the day -- Head East, Blackfoot, April Wine and REO Speedwagon all at one show...

I would argue that Since You've Been Gone is better than Never Been Any Reason, but fair enough.

Would one of these songs involve the line "save my life I'm going down for the last time"?

"My people" being whom, exactly? Skinny people? I can't say I speak for all of us, but I would think we're not all obsessed with it. The seeds annoy me.

Why? It's not like I'm going to breed.

I have very low standards for music. I kinda like almost anything. Except . . . I can't remember the name of the group, but it's chanting boring weird shit that was "popular" in the 80s.

OH for the love of christ. it was a deliberately offensive play on the issue you and paigow had in the non-deliberately offensive targreed era.

Did someone else make a song with the name "since you've been gone"? because I looked up the lyrics of that one, and they do not seem familiar, but the line "since you've been gone" seems very familiar.

Maybe the Cars.

Rainbow?

I get the same old dreams, same time every night
Fall to the ground and I wake up
So I get out of bed, put on my shoes, and in my head
Thoughts fly back to the break-up

These four walls are closing in
Look at the fix you've put me in

Since you been gone, since you been gone
I'm outta my head, can't take it
Could I be wrong, but since you been gone
You cast the spell, so break it
Oooohhh - Whhooooaaa - Ooooohhh
Since you been gone

So in the night I stand beneath the back street light
I read the words that you sent to me
I can take the afternoon, the night-time comes around too soon
You can't know what you mean to me

Your poison letter, your telegram
Just goes to show you don't give a damn

Since you been gone, since you been gone
I'm outta my head, can't take it
Could I be wrong, but since you been gone
You cast the spell, so break it
Oooohhh - Whhooooaaa - Ooooohhh
Since you been gone
