Welcome aboard, newber! As I'm sure you will soon see, this place is much like a cocktail party, albeit a cocktail party that lasts several years with exactly the same guests (most of whom are turn-your-face-away-in-horror drunk) and exactly the same conversations (which comfortingly occur in a prescribed order). Anyhoo, my point being that, as with any cocktail party, it is best to mingle a bit and listen in on the conversations before jumping in with your own contributions. It is no coincidence that some of the most popular and successful first-time posters have also been long-time lurkers.
With respect to your camouflage comment . . . well, you caught me! I am forced to admit that camouflage does indeed have as at least one of its purposes the camouflage function. Although that is not actually how it got its name . . . .

Well, thanks for the welcome, though I should point out that wasn't my first post. You & I just haven't crossed paths before. Curiously enough, though, the fact of you has led to certain accusations of me, but I won't hold it against you.
But uh, isn't "camouflage" from camoufler? Or am I not going back far enough?

Always clean, but I might fight back anyway.

We're the never ending flying party from Life, the Universe & Everything? Sweet.
(I have no idea if hyphens are necessary, and frankly, I don't care...there goes my foursome...)

Don't count on Wilde and Parker any time soon. But soon enough we should get a Guernica post.

Dammit, that's not cocktail-party-appropriate at all.

Nor will it be when wonk puts his hand on the small of your back and then slowly but deliberately lets it drop so that he's firmly clutching a handful of your clean ass, but that's the kind of party it is.

SS wanted me to let you know he had to step into the bathroom for a minute to rub one out to the image of Wonk grabbing your freshly-scrubbed ass. He'll be right back.

Outstanding. Thanks for the message. Think I have time for a cigarette (an occasional cocktail-party vice)?

You're so whiffalicious that I'm wondering if you're a Sebby sock.
