I believe that Janet was thinking of the children -- well the 12 to 18 yr old male children at least -- when she did flash her boob. I'm sorry, when there was the totally unanticipated and completely horrifying clothing malfunction.

Then the fucking audience cheers it. What a great world we live in.

If she says it was planned, that makes it different, and now I am hearing that she is fessing up given the FCC investigation. But the fact that anyone could think it was non-planned makes it at least appear non-consensual.

If planned, that was a violent sexual act of male dominance. If not planned, it was a feigned violent sexual act of male dominance.
You're joking on that last point, right? If you're not, you need to get a grip.

It was a dumb cheap gag that's already outlived its 15 minutes. Its got as much to do with male dominance as it does with quantum physics.

As atticus points out, males don't even dominate quantum physics anymore.

Yes, the children. The poor poor children, most of whom, I am sure, have never seen a breast.

You know, they didn't actually say "won't somebody please think of the children" but they might as well have.

Hey. Who the hell is Eva?

I made it through two physics classes. About halfway through the second, my brain took me aside and said, "Look, I gotta be honest with you... I feel like I'm at a nude beach with John Holmes here... lets face facts... we're outgunned. Lets go across the hall and take political geography."

sacred?

I am going to assume that this was a local person and that he doesn't realize football is not a religion outside of TX and some nearby states.
No one here seems to give a shit either way...this pleases me immensely. Hooray for amorality!

Absolutely. No real man would use the word "pesky".

Making Flower's Head Explode

iTunes lists several "celebrity playlists." It's fascinating stuff. Artists -- Wynton Marsalis, Burt Bachrach, Herbie Hancock, rock bands of which I've not heard -- list some of their favorite songs or a special playlist and explain why they picked certain songs.

This is Avril Lavigne's comment about "Ironic":

"I love how this song was written with all of the different examples Alanis uses of things being ironic . . . this song is just really good lyrically."

Appropriate gift

What is a good gift for someone who is taking you on his company's annual trip to Hawaii? Assume that, due to orientation issues, sexual favors would not be recieved well. Company is paying for everything so his only outlay is giving up his time with someone else.
