Sounds a lot like Ocasik to me. "Drive," on the other hand, was clearly not Ocasik and it's is still a pretty good tune 20 years later, so your hypothesis might prove correct yet.

I wasn't as bothered as I thought I'd be by this. The boss was good- he didn't try and "be" Brent- he was just himself as asshole. They didn't make the receptionist some godess, which is a typically Hollywood thing, and what I expected. The receptionist shouldn't be too hot, you know?

The "Gareth" from 6 Feet- I'm not sure i like. A little too forced weirdness, but George Castanza was forced at first too, so maybe he'll come around.

Why do direct lines and scenes? "A fax from corporate- file that......" Please make new jokes, recycling will only reinforce that it isn't the same- maybe they assume most people haven't seen the UK version so they can just coast/copy.
