That's not flirting. That's pitty.

False flirting isn't really the issue here, is it? I mean, false flirting is used all the time. I think the same message is being delivered, though (ex: By complimenting you with this look on my face and leaning in, just so, I'm saying that you are so much hotter than these other girls on line that you should just overlook the fact that I'm not on the list and let me in anyway, because we both know that if you weren't working, I would take you inside this club, to the darkest corner and fuck you like you need to be fucked).

I live and grew up in New York. That photo isn't shocking. It's pathetic. I ruined The Crying Game for the person I was with when I said, "That's a dude," the first time he appeared on screen. He needs to work on his look if he wants to be shocking.

I watched the HBO Pornucopia Real Sex or whatever show that was on same sex sex the other night (or some of it, at least -- I didn't think I was homophobic, but I just couldn't make myself watch the man on man segment, but I digress) and the lesbian porn made by and marketed to lesbians wasn't so hot.

You see it?

You and my date for that movie went to the same school of movie-talking. I thought it was a man, but was willing to suspend my disbelief.

Sure, I suppose I can watch with some mild interest for some of this, but sheep porn?
Of course, the small coterie of Hopi kachina festishists were memorably represented in The Shining.

On information and belief, UPS and FedEx and the like are supposed to have procedures to prevent this sort of thing. The case now in front of the Supreme Court, however, is about those states that have, in their munificent wisdom, decided that it's OK for Minnesota wineries to ship wine to your kids, but not OK for wineries in other states to do the same.
I've received wine with the "required" stickers all over the box, and without any stickers. So, I'm assuming enforcement isn't all that grand. I suppose the rationale for allowing in-state shipments is that in-state enforcement of shipping procedures can be done easily, while it's much harder to supervise what goes in and on boxes from other states.

This doesn't seem rational to me, but maybe you have a jones for Minnesota wines.
I've had several of those wines. They were . . um . . . interesting, in the same way a fine Mexican wine can be interesting.

I feel sick that I haven't even heard about it. This sounds like a show right up my alley. Tivo will be informed of it tonight.

I don't think they've come up with a rationale that coherent.

But really if my kids want to get liquored up by ordering a case of Opus One on line, waiting several days, and then knocking 'em back, the only thing that will piss me off is if they don't share.

The person I was with (who later became my wife) and I both agreed that if either of us can figure out a movie twist in advance (without either of us having seen the movie or hearing about the twist), it is that person's duty to let the other person know that they are slow and stupid for not figuring it out.

She ruined Sixth Sense for me (way too early), by the way.

So you'll be fine with the fact that they "borrowed" your credit card number to order the stuff? If so, are you looking to adopt?
