waaah. I know when I file a brief that it will not get looked at by the judge for quite some time.
And, FWIW, I'd rather work until 10pm the night before thanksgiving, get the shit onto someone else's desk, and know I won't have to think about it for four days than go home early, stuff my face with reese big cups, watch tv on a big screen, all the time thinking about how sucky it will be to go in on Friday to finish up.

Vince Vaughn was young and the metabolism still worked. But Favreau had to have skinnified. Haven't you ever seen Rudy?
He held on to his skinniness all the way through Friends (with some ups and downs), but has since given up, it appears.
Wasn't his last project a tv series based around dinner?

It's not like the signes weren't there.
**REPRINT**
From the Sports Guy. First, the bad news:
"One longshot pick to potentially fall apart. What about Philly? This is an actual excerpt from John Clayton's 'First and 10' column this week: 'This was a bumpy offseason for Philadelphia, beyond Owens' antics. There was the Jerome McDougle shooting; Todd Pinkston blew out a knee; Correll Buckhalter is out for the season; Brian Westbrook held out and wants a new deal; and Corey Simon had the franchise tag pulled and signed with the Colts.'
Good Lord! In New England, the most traumatic event of the summer was Deion Branch's getting rested throughout the exhibition season because Belichick wanted to save him for the playoffs, so there was a rumor that Branch was hurt (it turned out that he wasn't). Meanwhile, Philly had so many things happen, a player got SHOT and it was casually thrown in the middle of the paragraph. Unbelievable. In a sport that ongoing distractions really can kill your season, the Eagles seem to be pushing the limits."
Now the good news:
"We'll see how it goes. In the AFC, they could have been broken. In the NFC, they'll probably still go 11-5, even with all this stuff happening."

He was on the Apprentice a couple of weeks ago. couldn't believe it.

I think that he's been directing a lot more than acting lately, so he probably eats what he feels like, and doesn't bother exercising.
I have seen one episode of his "Dinner" show, and loved it -- unfortunately, the three other times I have tried to watch the damn show, it was the same one. Look, watching Favreau, Ben Affleck (funny), Kevin Smith (pompous and funny), Colin Ferrell (nearly incomprehensible accent), and Jennifer Garner (hot and a nice laugh) discuss things in an unrehearsed way was pretty cool, but I'd kinda like to see another one.

Swingers was 1995. I just had to do a deal for Jon Fatvreau -- the third director deal I've had to draft on this project -- a project that's never going to get made. Because although some people think it will be the next LOTR-type franchise, there are more people who realize is that there's almost no reservoir of goodwill into which to tap for a story about a civil war guy who finds himself on Mars.
But I'm glad to spend hours and hours and hours drafting a hellishly complicated deal in my last month on the job. Anything for the cause.
