The redesigned Fords don't look that bad (Mustang, Fusion, and Five Hundred), but I wouldn't buy one because Honda and Toyota make better cars for the money.
I actually considered buying one of those Ford or Chevy taxi-type cars, with the heavy duty suspension.

Every time I get into a cab it seems to have 350k miles.

I'll cut you a break b/c you're from Canada, and you schooled in the East. Cal (there is only one), also known as the University of California (the original), or Berkeley, is arguably one of the finest institutions of higher learning in the world. UCLA, which copied Cal's song (the exact damn song), and then made pale imitations of both its mascot and colors (Golden Bears/Bruins, blue and gold/powder blue and gold), is a fine school. But it's always behind Cal, and probably always will be. UCLA students, in keeping with their school's longstanding tradition of poorly imitating Cal, began to use the same taunts that Cal fans originated in the 90's, and who probably have since abandoned since the westwood sheep began apeing it too. UCLA students are also probably behind the recent Dukes of Hazzard, Bewitched, The Stepford Wives and the Manchurian Candidate movies.

The end.

I was told, by a Cal grad, that the official words to the "song" were.
This is the only song we know
It's really really slow
We wish that you would goooooo.

Saying there is "a little swearing" is like saying that female magician only got "mostly naked".

Actually spoken like a UC Santa Cruz (go Banana Slugs!) grad who buys his hoodies from UCB- "hey it's all the same system!???"
