The curious thing about these exchanges is just how intent you are on foisting your beliefs on me.

Assuming that you have never posted before under another name, Hank Chinaski is your primary sock. If you were to create a new log-in -- say, John R.U.S. Smith, or The Moron In The Next Cubicle -- that would a sock, but not your primary sock.

Alternate graces
Also an option: chant an Anglo Saxon magical charm, those usually have a lovely pattering gait.
Or, a more straight prayer:
Freond ic gemete wiš,
žęt ic on žęs ęlmihtgian friš wunian mote,
belocun wiš žam lažan, se me lyfes eht,
on engla blęd gestaželod,
and inna halre hand heofna rices,
ža hwile že ic on žis life wunian mote.
Amen.
BR(May I meet with friends, so that I may dwell in the Almighty's peace, protected from the loathed one seeking my life, established in the majesty of angels, and in the holy hand of heaven's ruler for the span that I stay in this life. Amen.)

We had a "Chateau Deplessis" or something similar last night that was really very good. Conducive to lots of mutual respect.

hahahahaha!!!! That is like saying Karen Carpenter has gotten pretty skinny. haha! I know, I know, but I read somewhere that plagiarism is the new hip thing!!! ![Wink](http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif) I read that HERE!!!! Is it ironic to plagiarize sayings about plagiarism???? Calling PLF!!!!! haha lol Why does everyone always talk about PLF and irony??? I never caught that. Anyhoo, I like the new poll about posting something that makes you seem hippy and edgy!!! ALAS and ALACK, if I dared post anything, someone would more certainly tell me forthwith that whatever it was I liked was sooooo 2001 or WHATEVER!!! ha. I am not exactly the most "hep cat"!!!! hahaha That phrase is sooo not me! lol
Well, I am actually not lol-ing a lot today. Got some sad news this morning. But, just wanted to check in and say HI!!!! Hope everyone's doing OK!!!

who braved internet porn sites to find my avatar.

got that, if I claimed not to then clearly I am a sock playing long time lurker.
over the past few days several people CTD, TG, PP, others have told John Basedow and another new sock that it should stick to its primary, I was just wondering who that was because it seemed obvious to everyone else.

If socking is depleted (and, as someone has been trying hard to prove recently, it is), then speculating here about who is socking is the depleted uranium ammunition of this board, deadly boring even to those who hide in armored vehicles to escape from it.

Apropos of nothing, I always pictured you more as a Daria than a Cathy.

Here is mine. I plan to ride my recalled-but-not-returned Segueway in Moab this weekend.

No. I just don't get your shtick. I don't give a ance of jizz whether you follow my beliefs or not. In fact, I think its kind of refreshing that you appear to be earnestly faithful to your religion. If that keeps ya happy, I say go for it. just don't ask me a silly question like where you can find an Amazin Grace. The closest I can give ya is the Dead's wonderful spiritual "We Bid You Goodnight" at the end of "Dozin at the Knick."
Lay down my dear brother,
lay down and take your rest,
I want you to lay down you head,
upon your savior's breast,
I love you,
But Jesus loves you the best,
And we bid you goodnight, goodnight, goodnight.
Hearing that baby acapella with a head full of drugs always made me think "Damn, sure did wish I believed in something."
