I don't think someone who takes a 5XL should have the right to wear such a shirt. sorry, bilmore.

Did it come with Shape Shifter's chamber pot, or was that extra?

Ever have a WTF moment when you realize you can't remember which state socks have been banned?

Good, me neither.

I think that rather than the greek vase on top, you should buy one of these. Class it up, if you will:

Yeah, I thought the vase was a nice touch.

Bunny I got it at storeyourmedia.com Funny thing is it didn't show up when I browsed. I found something similar on a site called, of all things, a touchofclass (yes I winced at the name) so I did a search for the item name and the storeyourmedia.com site came up. It was less expensive for the same item, and also, I just couldn't bring myself to buy something from a place called touchofclass.com.

Right. Because a search of Yankee items for sale on Ebay won't reveal any similar idiocy.

But I digress. It's baseball season, and time for Yankee Schadenfreude Haiku once again!

The Mr. and I get that catalog every so often (they've obviously heard how classy I am), and it is a riot. I think we've mocked it here before.

Particularly the coordinated bedroom sets.

Oh, and did anyone else see the Daily Show a few days ago, when John Stewart commented that the Tyco dude had an ice sculpture of David that peed vodka "because its so CLASSY," and believe, deep in your heart, that he reads this board?

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Will someone recommend a brand of men's dress socks that stay up?

I can only offer anecdotal evidence of what comes out of the dryer and doesn't go straight into the trash.
1 Calvin Klein
2 Polo
3 Hilfiger
4 Kenneth Cole
5 Donna Karan

Polo suck. CK suck. My Boss socks won't stay up either. Even if they did, I will never again pay that much for a stupid pair of socks.

boone's farm?

From ESPN:

"Aaron Boone's torn knee ligament may not have ended his Yankees career after all.

The club has expressed an early interest in re-signing Boone, only this time it would be to play second base rather than third, The New York Times reported Tuesday."

Tell us when they're done setting up the rest of the letters. Should be awhile before they get all of "S," "S," "H," "O," "L," and "E" set up.
