Although I enjoyed it, I thought it was weird that we had to read Rebecca in sophmore advanced english. The boys hated it and I think its literary quality is dubious. But since I had to read The Red Badge of fucking Courage, I didn't feel bad for all the boys having to read about evil Ms. Danville and the hot and brooding Mr. DeWinter.

Strange, I havent read most of what is listed. Except of course Cathcer in the Rye and Separate Peace. I remember being thankful that Icould duck a couple of books (the one by the guy who wasnt Melville but was a contemporary, the Pearl Buck book and any Shakepeare - I only had to read one). I was in some advanced independent course of some sort (depsite the Catcher in the Rye debacle) where I got to pick my own books. I was looking for antying that might have some sex in it. I picked Bell Jar, Franny and Zooey, the Awakening (did anyone read this?) and a couple of other repressed. miserable young lady books I cannot recall.

I have bones larger than most men (by wrist circumference -- for example, men over 6' tall have wrists about the same size as mine) and I am a runner and weightlifter and almost all muscle. I weigh around 130-135. And you have to account for the TITS!!!! Most people would put me at less heavy than that. Iwear size 27 jeans, size 2 or 4 pants, size 2 or 4 suits.

Why did I just answer this.

ETA: And my ratio is spectacular.

I don't believe you believe that. This is a normal level of gay smack talk, and I say that having just spent the last weekend hanging out with 3000 runners for 26 hours.

I read this. For some reason I always get it mixed up with Wide Sargasso Sea, but I'm not sure why.

Luckily, I read it while watching back-to-back episodes of "Welcome Back, Cotter."

Who are you? IS it safe to assume you arent a real, actual newber? Do you do photoshop?

I loved Welcome Back Kotter, but please don't post any pictures where you cite Thurgreed as being Freddy Boom Boom Washington.

But I'm faking it. I know I'm not fast (compared to real runners). Faster than the weekenders? Yeah, but not fast enought to talk smack.

Who wrote Bartleby the Scrivener again? That may be the Melville contemparoary I am thinking of. Did anyone see the film short of that book starring Greg Brady? Did your English class all shout at in unison, "Hey! Greg Brady!"? I wish I could be an English teacher for one day so I could reexperience this. I suppose laughing with the kiddies would not be appropriate.

Posting about them as if they are winners is truly living in the past.
1. I haven't posted like the Yankees are winners in quite some time.

2. When exactly did your PR occur?

3. After meeting you both, I bet Coltrane could whip you with one bleeding nipple tied behind his back.

4. Stop living in the past, man.
