It's spooky. And I think he thinks we've now bonded.

It is not, goddammit. I'm clearly not partner material.

Nah. He's the one who wonders why the associate needs that extra lump of coal.
Happy Thanksgiving all. I'm about to begin my trek down to the southern part of the state.

I also learned to hit the catcher's mit with my swing, earning a trip to first for interference.

I'm about to leave, but I have to find my shoes first, which ought to tell you where I lie on that whole dress-for-excess continuum.

Did he say anything about the cut of your jib? I hear that's key.
I think "suit with no tie" is the new default setting around here. At least it's mine. You can keep a few ties on the back of the door in case you have to look professional on short notice, or, in my case, look like a totally unprofessional goof wearing a tie.

PHILADELPHIA -- An arbitrator has upheld the Philadelphia Eagles' four-game suspension of Terrell Owens, and the team has the right to deactivate him.
Arbitrator Richard Bloch heard more than 13 hours of arguments last week.
"The finding is that the club has shouldered its burden of proof of clear and convincing evidence of player misconduct in that the four-week suspension was for just cause," Bloch wrote in his decision. "Additionally, there was no inherent violation of the labor agreement in the club's decision to pay Owens but not practice or play him due to the nature of the player's conduct and its destructive and continuing threat to the team."

Thank you. I meant to tell you earlier that I saw the acoustic, solo show last weekend and it was, quite frankly, one of the best Bruce performances I've ever seen.
Stevie and Clarence joined him onstage twice. He did Drive All Night, Thundercrack (my current all-time favorite Bruce song), and Santa Ana which shocked me. He also did The Rising, Matamoros Banks, Lonesome Day, Devils and Dust, Jesus Was an Only Son, and Johnny 99, which did not.
It's easy to forget what a talented musician he is.
If he'd only done If I Should Fall Behind and For You, I would have actually died right there in my seat.

I would leave, but I just kicked over a 40 oz. on my sweatpants, which were lying crumpled on the ground next to the bong, so I'm going to let those dry first.
