Oh, it's much worse for women. They basically have to guess about the general dimensions of a man. Plenty of guys look normal with clothes on, and then you tell them you need an extra guy for beach volleyball and you're serving with his back sweater facing you...

This is why I do not believe in work-related sporting events. There is the invaluable comraderie and teamwork built by colleagues working together in a fun way towards a goal, and then there is back thatch. Might as well just fire everybody and start all over again. You can't salvage anything out of that.
On to more edifying topics, I recently rented the first season of "The Office." Hilarious and dead-on. It's amazing how many actual people I recognized from my caseload.

T-mobile has all of the manuals on their website as pdfs. Here's the link to the manual for your phone.

Oh, and could someone please add me to the adult board?

That's pity you're sensing. It's Paigow who hates you. Try to keep your spinsters straight. I'm the perky one (well, two).

Hey, while you're talking to the TV, I'm actually having a real-life conversation* with the roomie.
*although it probably consists of only movie/The Office quotes.

Oh shit, you just reminded me...
Some chick at a bar the other night called me a metrosexual. I said "Excuse me?" She said, "You've perfectly matched the patterns in your shirt, tie and suit, and you must spend a lot of time on grroming, so you're a metrosexual." I immediately hailed the bartender and demanded a boilermaker, plate of nachos and asked him to put on a bowl game.
Much to my changrin there was no TV at the bar, the bar didn't serve nachos and the bartender said "No Grand Marnier?... You usually order one of those after dinner." I just hung my head in shame.

thanks to all. I am figuring this out now.
And wonk - I see your point - however - emailing Africa is hit or miss because it relies on traditional phone lines which always go down. The wireless networks there are reliable, so it is much easier to text message someone over your mobile phone (and way cheaper than calling them). that's why I'm getting into this now. I'm a bit of a technophobe.
And I would like to see bn'b's tits too (from the comfort and safety of my home) so please add me to the adult board as well.

Oh no you don't... she's mine. You're sleeping on the couch tonight (or you'll have to be very quiet in the top bunk).

Sebby, being a beer-swilling, cheez-sauce-scarfing, groin-scratching pig is nothing to aspire to.
God, men have it so easy. All you have to do is half-assedly match your shoes to your suit and you're miles above 90% of the competition out there.

Tizzy over lezzies
According to Maureen Dowd, GWB is in a "tizzy over lezzies."

Edited to add that one of my favorite expressions ever is "she looks like she needs a good scrubbing." Although I haven't seen the woman who coined this phrase since Tara Reid came on the scene, I am confident she would agree that the phrase captures the very essence of Tara.
|
Let me get this straight...
A "glorious day for everyone" is one is which we a) learn how to find our correct bra size; b) share our correct size; c) make fun of me when I post that a certain size is hard to find; and inevitably d) come full circle to asking me to show you my tits?
OK then.
a) every female FBer, please look at the little tag on your bra. What size does it say? you're wrong. you're actually all 34D's or 36D's. except GWINKY, at 5'9" and 115 she's only a large B/small C.
b) See above.
c) Sheesh...can you believe how man-pleasing I was to post the above? If I wasn't sitting here in this la perla thong and bra set, twiddling this long string of pearls around my fingers and tightening the strap on my stiletto heels, even I'd be rolling my eyes at myself.
d) I have to go close my office door now so that i can show myself my tits.
Happy now, little puppy?
