In my world, everything in Minnesota is in Minneapolis. Family members live in Edina and I call that Minneapolis. Kind of like Plano is Dallas or Anaheim is LA. Wasn't meant to cause geographic confusion or disrespect.

Have I mentioned I hate the Vikings and any other sporting event involving Minnesota (other than sporting events involving ABBA I would imagine...)?
My college roommate used to date the son of the owner of the Timberwolves. Edina is nice and Wayzata? is nice as well.

Why would Sebby not want to be on that boat?

I think that sentence needs a question mark. And an answer: yes, if the hot chocolate were free, and good.

No, actually I don't think it gets any better than this. And the lack of question mark, while grammatically incorrect, accurately conveyed my state of mind and delivery of the sentence.

I've been on that boat (though not with the Vikings). I did not have sex on the boat and to my knowledge none of my companions did either. What a wasted opportunity. I am kicking myself. Truly KICKING myself! I did pee on a nieghbors lawn though. At least there's that.

I Killed a Gnat

The little bugger has been flying around my office for the past day and a half and now he is gone. This makes me way happier than it should. Possibly because I never did manage to kill the one that dive-bombed my head for the better part of a week a month or two ago. Perhaps this one was it's offspring? Grand-gnat?

In any event, I no longer need to randomly clap my hands from time to time in an effort to kill it, so hopefully those around me will appreciate this turn of events as well. Unless the dead gnat has any siblings that will try to avenge its death.

Carry on.

ETA: He had a brother. I killed that one too. Can you hear me, gnats? Bring. It.

Have I mentioned I hate the Packers? And even though I watched only about 30 seconds of the game on Sunday, I hate them even more?

But how can you hate Gopher (or Bulldogs*) Hockey?

[snort] Cheesehead. [/snort]

*The son of a woman in my Bible study is a freshman on the UM-Duluth hockey team so I have to be a Bulldogs hockey fan now.

I have been on that boat (also not with the Vikings) three times. I did not have sex on the boat and to my knowledge none of my companions did either. Thank goodness. All three times were work events and the very thought makes me a little queasy.

This is possibly the first time I have ever disagreed with your wife.

Well, exactly. As they were work, and not social events, the usual rule about "ladies first" wouldn't have applied.

There's that as well. Mostly it was the absence of anyone I'd want to see or even imagine naked.

Are you saying that you wouldn't make romantic explosion on either of their stomachs?
