ya know, I was going to let the shameless brand-name dropping of freaking men's socks pass without comment despite that reCockulous nature of it, but now you are actually attempting to taunt someone for not wearing name brand socks? what is wrong with you?
and, Coltrane, I'm ashamed for knowing this but I believe that my ex liked Gold Toe, available in any basic department store near you. Tell them ncs sent you and they'll throw in a three pack of wife-beaters for free.

Gold toe, my good man. Basic black. You won't regret it. I think that they're even made in America.

I haven't had a problem with gold toe. Reasonably priced during sales. Eventually the elastic dies, and they fall down. But by that point they're ready to go, and then some. And if they're not staying up, get over-the-calf length, which go higher with more elastic.
Moreover, they have a " Patented stay-up design with added Lycra spandex at the ankle to push the sock up. In a variety of Lycra blends. This sock stays-up!"

Fatty.
I have socks that stay up but they're not "branded" so I have no idea where to get more.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Do I live in an alternative universe separated by some bizarr-o 4th dimensional time warp from you, you hacking piker you? In my real world, the grass is kelly green, the sky a serene azure, John Kerry is a true leader, and the Florida Marlins are the one true defending World Champions of MLB.
AssClam, maybe in your deluded haze of booze and cheap broads, you remember something regarding the Florida Marlins winning the 2003 World Series, even though the city of New York and its biggest doofus of a resident, Steinbastard, seem to have oldtimers disease on the subject.
For your pathetic Yankees' sake, I sure do hope A-Rod can pitch.

I remember being dragged to see this when visiting friends in Brussels....why is this a tourist attraction? I still don't get it.

Thank you

It sounds so, so ... domestic. And I don't even live in BnB's McMansion.

Apropos of nothing, George lives in Tampa, which makes the Opening Day Sponsored by Ricoh (tm) loss to the friggen Devil Rays (home of Yanks in Exile Lou Pinella and Don Zimmer) all the more schadenfreudish.
But I digress. A rebuttal to Mister No More:
Pedro hates the cold
Yet came back from crappy start
to keep the Sox close.

Get over yourself. It was not a taunt at the fact that he doesn't wear name-brand socks - which he obviously has tried, but the fact that who the hell doesn't know where the fuck their socks came from? If you bought them, you'd know. It was the only explanation.

I'm sorry I don't check the brand when I'm buying socks at a department store. I'm usually too busy buying Armani underwear and Rolex cock rings to notice.

Do people really wear over-the-calf socks? I tried a pair once and they make you feel like a dork even though you're the only one who knows you have them on. Plus they make your leg all itchy.
