Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

It is an inefficient use of their time unless they have money. If they have money, they may succeed with the whorish types who will date anything with a big enough wallet. But if they don't have money, these women are not going to sleep with them. They would be much better off (in terms of getting laid) focusing their efforts on the less attractive women.

If they don't mind beating off at night, then they have nothing to lose by spending their time futilely chasing women who they haven't a snow ball's chance in hell of sleeping with.

Yeh, and the '79 Pirates should have just forfeited after game 3. You can't expect everyone to be so pragmatic. Their time wasting is Darwinian predestination. It keeps them from meeting with receptive potential mates and passing on their George Costanza-esque genes.

True but don't they get tired of beating off? I guess not and that is the explanation for why the pornography industry is so lucrative.

Speaking of George Costanza, you can tell that Seinfeld was written and produced by men. They always had him paired with much better looking women. No woman would have written those plots or cast those actresses in those roles.

1. Masturbation never gets old. Sometimes, its just easier. Less work is never a bad thing.

2. That George got play despite his innumerbale deficiencies is one of the prime subtextual running gags in the show. It was not a result of lack of female input.

No, you're right. A woman should be able to laugh off a guy rubbing his naked penis against her, as long as he doesn't progress all the way to rape.

Next you'll say that it doesn't count b/c he wasn't a stranger.

Seriously, have you ever had a naked guy who disgusted you rub his genitals on your bare skin? Did you laugh it off?

I'm glad they made amends b/c I really think that Hatch is just so clueless that he really thought what he was doing was funny and I doubt he meant to traumatize her. But still. Unacceptable. And more unacceptable to say that it should have been laughed off.
I agree. reminds me of the Tammy/David sheet pulling episode on Real World 2. Same thing happened. She laughed about it at first and then got seriously upset when she reflected on it. She also later admitted that she overreacted at the time (and the bitch Beth obviously was stirring the pot), but I don't doubt that both Sue (Survivor) and Tammy (Real World) had feelings of violation.

Even though I hate Sue, Hatch's act was inappropriate. The show potentially could be liable (though $10m sounds excessive) because they allowed the asshole to be naked during an immunity challenge involving contact between players. They had the ability to require him to wear clothes and they didn't. Unforeseeable? I'm not so sure.

But that assumes that you have someone to have sex with at least some of the time. If all the action that you ever get is your rosy palm, are you telling me it doesn't get old?

I like to masturbate just as much as the average woman (or maybe even a bit more since my SO travels so much), but I do miss him when he is gone after awhile and all I have is my vibrator.

Hmmm, while I agree that it was meant to be funny, I wouldn't be so sure that females thought it funny or contributed so much to its conception or implementation.

Masturbation = "Less work"?

I doubt he thinks of it as work.
