So, like, the Batman movies -- are they in chronological order other than Batman Begins which comes before Batman (the first movie)?

Yes, if by "hand-engraved," you mean crusted in dried semen.

There was nothing lovely about it.

Simpler translation: I was a spaz.

I was a spaz at baseball. I couldn't hit squat. I either struck out looking or walked. Then one day I got to the plate and stood in the right-hand batter's box. Coach screamed "What are you doing batting lefty?" First pitch single into left.

But I was a good football player, big with thick legs, playing guard or DT.

Wow, thank goodness my kid doesn't take after me.

I can't really recall any "growth" exhibited or storylines that you would need to know. So order doesn't matter.

But some of them suck so bad that if you saw them first you might not want to see the others. I remember in one of the ones with Michael Keaton, his house had a fireplace you could step into- they didn't but it was that high. I liked that fireplace, so I might watch the next one hoping to see the fireplace again. Another movie had Val Kilmer in it, and no fireplace, and I didn't like that. If I saw that first I might stop.

Say if the first donut you ever ate was an out of a box cake, you might think you don't like donuts so then you wouldn't eat a Tim Horton's angel cream. But if your first was THAC, then you could eat the BC and realize your next donut might be better. Just be careful that way.

if you pitched, this would be like leaving a hanging curve ball. Coltrane could hit this one.

crossover death pool post.

I think Vince Young's Heisman chances died today. Anyone have that in the pool? It's probably not good to be by far the second best QB on the field in a big nationally televised game.

Of course, by those standards, Reggie Bush has been the second best RB on his team in about 4 games this season.

Matt Leinart back-to-back!

ETA: My prediction at this point is that the voting goes Bush/Young/Leinart. But I think Leinart deserves it.

I just finished watching Hamburger America (a documentary about 6 or 7 unique burgers).

Louis Lunch's look like the 3rd best (behind the butter burger and the 2 chile burger). Are Louis' good?

Louis's are pretty good, but not great. I think I buy their claim of being the first burger, so it's worth going just to eat a peice of food history. Butter burgers, otoh, are just plain gross. Grease fried in grease with a side of extra grease. You can actually feel your arteries constrict as you eat one.

I would get it with lettuce wrap instead of a bun, so it wouldn't be unhealthy.

That's what I do! I always ask for extra lettuce at the Red Rooster so I can use it as the "bun".

We're peas in a pod, Hanky.
