some of the best Mexican food I've had is from lunch trucks in Crystal City, though I believe it was made by Central americans, not Mexicans. why I ever ate at expensive restaurants when I could get those pork pupusas for $1.25 is a mystery.

Because I was drinking to numb the pain of root canal last night, I decided to watch TV and not Tivo. Last night's selection was Dancing with the Stars. Which is kind of a chick version of the Contender. Stars duke it out with dances chosen by the judges. A star gets paired with a professional. The big problem is that the professional guys are as gay as cheese. With tight asses.

You get to see them practice and get psyched up for competition. There is the Paula Abdul wannabe judge, who usually doesn't say anything bad about any of the dancers except she just roasted some woman from General Hospital. In fairness, she was a crappy dancer. And Evander Holyfield, considering he is a professional boxer, is horribly uncoordinated. He'll get voted out soon, but not before General Hospital lady. The other 2 judges are a British guy and another guy with what I believe to be a Spanish or South American accent - he is the Simon Cowell - doesn't much like anyone.
Oh, and Trista was there. She is another one who can't dance. And she's a whiner. She asked that Ryan be there for rehearsal because her gay as cheese professional dancer guy was getting too close and she was uncomfortable with it.

Surprises, Rachel Hunter and John O'Hurley are really quite good.
Rachel did the splits and lifted her leg over her head. But otherwise, this show sucks.

Psychic Detective

Oh yeah, I also watched Psychic Detective because I am fascinated by psychic detectives. Not so fascinated by the psychics who claim to talk to dead people - because they are fake.

The usual crime solved using a psychic but no one in the force believes in psychics, and they're usually mostly right about who the killer is type of show. Not bad. Better than Dancing with the Stars.

Very good, but no Taqueria Tapatia. Trust me, I've put in my time at both.

This is you?

Drawn to performing from a young age, he remembers dressing up in a swimsuit, homemade oxygen tank and goggles to watch his favorite show Sea Hunt.

Though an ardent Boston Red Sox Fan, John's true sporting passion is golf. He maintains his single digit handicap by playing on the Celebrity Player Tour.

An accomplished stage actor, John has starred in national tours of Pirates of Penzance, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Brigadoon. He is currently lending his voice to King Neptune in SpongeBob SquarePants, Captain Star Johnson in Duck Dodgers, and King Wallace II in Kim Possible.

Maybe the Hotel Kabbala could help with that.

"Madonna's support for Kabbalah is growing. She has already spent £3.6million on a West End headquarters for the controversial religious sect. Now she has bought it a £1.6million Regent's Park property.

The star, who became a Kabbalah devotee in the Nineties, has purchased the five-storey Georgian house to be used as a hotel cum drop-in centre for the sect. "
