He is being attacked because the unwritten rule of blogdom (actually, either Yglesias or DeLong had a nice post about this recently) is that you should only acknowledge other bloggers with at least as many page hits as you have, so as to increase your profile but not to help your rivals. Marshall scores right up there, so every is gunning for him instead of more-obscure blogs.
Hmm. I thought it was because he made Joseph Wilson his personal poster boy.

The vacation photo montage on Drudge right now is a gas, for those easily amused like myself.

Marshall's post in question is here. Anyone wanting to understand why Marshall gets lots of page hits but I've never heard of your guy should compare their posts. Marshall adds value by quoting and discussing British governmental documents to a degree not seen frequently in the press. Your guys mostly accuses him of "spin," and can't really be bothered to address what Marshall quotes or says. Tellingly, he closes by trying to whack Marshall with a piece from the WaPo ombudsman, and simply ignores Marshall's response to it.

Cite, please? The people putting Wilson in the spotlight are the GOP senators who decided that it was more important to trash him before the election than to discuss what Bush et al. did with pre-war intelligence, and Wilson himself. And Shape Shifter, for buying his book.

Glad to know he's vacationing before he enters the WH. I personally enjoy this photo montage:

I'm proud that, as an American, my taxes are being used by the House Approriations Committee for its new satire department.

You are right. I'm sure that it accounts for a large percentage of the $7,279,251,214,040.39 national debt.

God, the more I look at your post the dumber it gets. I didn't say anything remotely like the above. I said voters in various states called for a reduction of the war on drugs.
And yet, I've been consistently saying this for several days while your voice gets more shrill. So who are you arguing with! The various states apparently don't come close to being a majority in this country, nor do they come close to endorsing the activity which I'm suggesting Bush may have engaged in.

Oh my God, while you've been playing a leftist Fluffy, I've actually been suggesting that Bush may have done something wrong!

Quick, throw in a few swear words, or shriek for the 4th time that us Republicans wear blinders! I'm sure I'll be convinced then that the great majority of Americans wouldn't have a problem with Bush if he came out and said he was a coke fiend.

ETA: I note that I stated twice in just the last 2 days some of the reasons people should be outraged by the war on drugs. Strangely, your shrieking just got louder. Quick, throw in a comment about Wahhabi Repubs!

The debt has two causes, both Democratic party faults:

1 you guys are out of touch with much of the country, so we control both houses and the White House. That is a bad combination. Rather than put some thought into why this is so, you appear headed for a big ass wall. This will get worse.

2 you spent the 90's ignoring a serious threat to the US that exploded in 2001. This has cost money. This should get better.

you are right that the page doesn't add to the cost, but it does serve to reinforce that people shouldn't trust you to behave differently should you ever again be trusted with any relavence. Again, it is in the country's best interest for you to take control of at least one house, but alas, it does seem likely.

To paraphrase P.J. O'Roarke, it's like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.

Clinton was focused on terrorism, but unfortunately the Scaifelets were focused on Clinton.

Looks like they'll at least get the White House.

You keep saying that, but I have yet to see you or anyone else point to something he said and show that he knew it was false.

you haven't taken account of our trojan (har-har) horse. Marilyn Chambers is the VP candidate of the Personal Choice Party.

http://www.politics1.com/personalchoice04.htm

all the sex-crazy dems will vote for her! this at least will turn Nevada, and probably California. Sure, Mary Carey didn't get many votes, but Mary is no Marilyn.
