Fried Green Tomatoes

This belongs on the cooking board, but . . .

I think you'll have better luck getting your coating to stick if you salt the tomatoes first to draw off some of the moisture. I'll try it in another month or so (when I have green tomatoes to get rid of) and let you know how it works.
