Yessum, but I was edumacated in the tree hugging commie North. Go figure.

I thought that one of the basic tenets of the FB was to not throw around biased opinions and to not use stereotypes against people. Right?

Don't forget the no mocking rule and the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" rule.

I'm not sure that spending time in Albany would change this opinion. And, sadly, I also doubt that it is in the top 3 for population.

I was being Flowerironic re: my stereotypical jab at your education.

And you're correct. Paigow initiated that basic tenet.

No. Texas is its own country. And I don't really like IT either, but I haven't seen enough of it to form a true opinion. I love Austin though, which apparently isn't Texas.

I've never been to Dallas, Houston or San Antonio. So, like I said, my experiences are limited. I'm sure my opinion of Texas as being a haven for insecure rednecks who buy pick-up trucks and own guns b/c "that's what REAL men do" is just as exaggerated as a Texan's opinion of a big-city northerner as a tree-hugging hippie commie...
PSA: The views expressed by young grasshopper Coltrane do not necessarily reflect the views of the management of the Chicago board.

Especially since said management has clients in Texas and has a sister marrying into a large family of Texans soon...

They will be too polite to hit your sister when they find out all Chicagoans hate and look down upon Texans. They will probably kick YOUR ass, though.

If you repent, they may buy you a beer or five after the ass-kicking is completed.

I think your average city person could kick the crap out of your average redneck.

I'm perfectly willing to broker a peace here, but I will NEVER, EVER hand over Coltrane to be tortured...

(except for maybe a side of beef and a pan of that ridiculously expensive chocolate stuff)

It's Aloha, not an average city person, against a "huge Texas family."

Your reading comprehension is really not up to snuff. Perhaps you went to the same crap northern schools as Mr. Man.

Yeah. I feel sorry for them.

(Actually, they say they like me. To my face at least...)

That's because they don't yet know that you despise Texas and everything in it.

Cool. Then we can have a close third world nation to export manufacturing jobs to. The rednecks there are doing a damn good job putting bimmers together, why not have the kiddies sew baseballs or something while they pray.
