The FB's Next Generation

From overheard in new york (linky below):
  • Teen Girl: It's a good thing Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up because I am so going to do him when I meet him. If he is with Angelina Jolie that is even better because I would totally do her too. I would definitely do both of them!

Why are you still yapping about VS? This is Cosabella. They are European. They don't airbrush. Go rub one out to Arabella.

Mine purports to be made by Bose, as does the one I bought for the Wonk Princess. Bose holds itself out as a high-end equipment manufacturer, not a private label marketer like Kenmore. If you have any information to back up your snottiness, then post away. Otherwise, go back to fixing all your deferred comp plans and stop ragging on me. I didn't enact section 409A, crabby pants.

This brings to mind an expression one of my best friends uses all the time: it's like a sore dick; you just can't beat it.

Yes. Though, it may be Annabella. www.greatexpectations.biz -- I can't access from work. Where I am now, because my employers are (obviously) racist fucks.

Look at that -- you addressed the issue! What a champ.

409A does not make me crabby. Aside from the work, it makes me somewhat happy to see some limits, however, pathetic, being put on the ability of executives to avoid current taxation on their bloated pay packages.

Yes, yes, of course. Upon further reflection, I can see how a simple declarative sentence like "they are made by Bose" might have confused you.

Fucking Simpleton.

He didn't ask who they were made by, moron. Read the question. He asked if they were being marketed as Apple/sold under Apple's auspices. I think it was pretty clear from the 85 billion posts on the topic that Bose manufactured the product.

Are you upset that your plans for getting out of taxes using deferred comp arrangements have been stymied by the new law?

ETA I checked out your weather. Wow, it's total crap there! I can see where you'd be less than happy. Probably trapped indoors with your obnoxious (but somehow sexually exciting to you . . .) children and repulsive (oh, perhaps this explains the attraction to the children) wife all weekend.

I cannot tell which of the two parallel threads you have going here is more boring - the semantic debate about whether Wonk actually addressed the Bose manufacturing issue, or the benefits law blather. Thanks for throwing in the incest joke to spice it up a bit.

So then it was the use of the brand name designation in Bose Sound Dock that confused Hank and, apparently you as well. I would have thought it was pretty clear from the 85 billion posts, the ad that appears on the Apple website, the iTunes store website, and the viewers' guide page on nearly every cable and sattelite service in the country that the product (that would be the Bose Sound Dock) is sold under the Bose brand name.

And I'm solo now, muffin, so I'm not really looking to escape from anything. It's fun being on my own. It reduces my exposure to colleagues who have your powers of observation, logic, and intellect.

Wow. That's some edit. Are holiday Mondays the new Friday?

Happy MLK day, y'all.
