I believe

That the Blue Jays will finish second in the AL East this year, thus breaking their 3d place streak, which dates back to the last century.

Ihate ventless vent hoods.

I mistyped. It's not even a vent, but just a fan in the microhood, in a microwave without a turntable. WTF?

Thom Yorke's new album

Really really good. I read a pretentious record review that said that you could really tell this wasn't a Radiohead album, it's a Thom Yorke album. Well, to that I call bullshit. These could easily be Radiohead songs, if you added more guitar to them. Highly recommend.

BTW, I'm not giving socks naming rights no matter how fairly or squarely they win a K race.

Fried ice cream is also fun. Kind of a pain because you have to work fast and keep re-freezing it so it doesn't melt. But, yum!

Do we have a clear definition of "sock"?

Another music note

One of the highlights of my summer was seeing Belle & Sebastian with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl from great seats. Just a perfect evening. I wish you all could have been there.

Those suck too. What is the point? It would be better to have a wad of paper towels stuck above the stove to absorb the grease.

Ok, people, it's crunch time. If you haven't already figured it out, somewhere, in a dark, cramped, windowless room, Penske is planning his next k-race snipe. We have an opportunity here to send a message, one with far-reaching consequences. For the next 15 mins or so, I expect every active poster to post as much as possible. Shotgun approach. Follow the lead of some other posters and turn off that internal filter. Just post utter crap.
Maybe certain IP addressess will get an error message?
