You could extend that logic to the steaks themselves.

The embarassment of being seen with you outweighs the benefit of the cab ride.

At least someone spent some time cooking it. And I always get the creamed spinach anyway.

Everyone mainly agrees that potatos are mostly delicious. And a glorified Lays potato chip sounds pretty damn good to me.

I've always wondered, why is creamed spinach a steak house staple? It seems like such an odd thing to have on the menu, and I've never seen it anywhere else.

Because it is a vegetable, but is nonetheless drowned in tasty, fatty substances thereby killing off all threat of any healthiness accidentally sneaking into a steakhouse meal?

Is 15 games enough for Melo?
On the replay, the punch looked pretty vicious to me. Enough to bring to mind the one that Rudy T took. In that context (total sucker punch to an unsuspecting opponent, after the initial outburst was over) 15 games seems light to me.

Or to other simple salads. But watch out for Thurgreed Rooney if you do.

While We Are Bitching About Things
How is it that the top story for the last 4 days is these missing hikers who wandered up Mount Hood in the winter? There is nothing else going on in the world that is more important than finding them? This is like some twisted corrolary to the Missing White Woman phenomenon. Because of the found SF family story (sorry, Jack), now any missing people in the northwest are national news? How many people go missing on Everest or other mountains per year? Why are Oregon/the federal government expending the resources that they are to find guys who voluntarily went out hiking on a mountain during the winter? Over 60 hikers on the mountain now in bad weather to try to find the remaining two?
Assumption of risk holds no water in the real world today, I guess.

Dear TM
I hate onions. Tomatoes do not help.
I wouldn't order the pompous salad and I don't see the attraction to the iceberg wedge salad either.
I hate iceberg lettuce. Why would I pay $12 for it?
