I didn't say that they said that he would win. I heard some pundits even predict a second place showing for him.

An almost complete lack of charisma does ultimately trump substance in Presidential politics. (That and he is probably just too conservative for the primary crowd).
At least for the Dems this is true.

Or to pay his lawyers.

On the substance -- I can't see how/why Franken or others got away with clubbing a guy if they weren't working security. Or why he thought it was right. The folks just needed to be frog-marched out.

Because Franken is a hypocrite (and a hippo). It was the content of what the guy was saying that Franken objected to. It wasn't about freedom of speech (especially since there was no state action involved).

If the folks weren't LaRouche supporters, he might have been in big trouble. As it is -- no one will care.
Maybe one of Edward's former partners will take the case.

This leaves 29, and since Lieberman, Kucinish, and Sharpton aren't going to have 29, I assume that a number of people were answering the exit poll "Fuck you". So how these fuck offs split will produce the third place victor and determine how close Dean gets.

I'll bet this means the delegates get split pretty close to 50/50 between Kerry and Dean.
