I'm confident, but that does not make an excuse for our failing to protect the life of the unborn. I am not worried about the death cultists, I know that they will get their due, I am worried about being a co-conspirator for facilitating the killing.

Actually, I think that SAM has a good point. Please differentiate between Landrieu's comments, and Helms'. Is it simply that Helms was hoping other people would kill the President once he sets foot in North Carolina?

This will go as far as Bush wants it to go (and it has). He'll get to this right after he fires Karl Rove for outing Valerie Plame. (I guess it depends on what your definition of "is" is.)
|
As yes, the "outing".
Still waiting on those indictments.

Now Nagin's an authority?

The media sure considered him one, seeing as every worldwide news source ran with that number.

How come nobody is holding him accountable for such a false and misleading statement that only added to the misery and angst of the people on the ground with missing loved ones? Can you imagine if Bush had said this and been so wildly off?
Of course the MSM and the Demo party was rooting for 10,000 deaths so that the blame that they were laying on Bush would be that much worse. I can only imagine how upset the folkes at CNN and the NYTimes are that more people didn't die for the liberals cause.

Watch what you wish for. You guys could not beat Bush once in two tries. You are out of touch with the real America. Keep beatin that drum though and President Cheney will laugh all the way to the Oval Office.

Better than, say, Sessions'. Are these hearings really for the purposes of Career-Day questions like how much time litigants before the court get to speak?
|
They should give Roberts a crossword puzzle so he can at least entertain himself during the soliloquies.

I think Helms was concerned and it was a cautionary warning motivated out of such genuine, brotherly loving concern.
forgot about Helms though, that was already addressed at the time. How is Landrieu's coimment not a violation of the stat?

He's laughing over Bush's resignation?
Man. I knew Cheney was a cold-blooded fucker, but I had no idea.

Is that the test for the application of a law? So its okay to break the law if nobody thinks its worth worrying about? So, if I was to rape and murder a homeless jobless woman with no relatives and no friends, that's okay because no one would find it worth worrying about?
There is no societal interest in upholding the rule of law?
