It is a shame we can't all see you in person. Perhaps you only lack the "dick" gene in face to face interactions?

little known fact about me. I actually had Raptors seasons tickets four years in a row (all right, there was a package deal with Leafs seasons tickets). So although I don't know shit, I am a bit of a fan of the game. Anyway, it is nice to see Vince Carter looking somewhat like he used to. I am a big fan of his. I think it's great the way he sticks it out in Toronto when he could so easily go someplace else.

I lack the "dick" gene which is required to beat up on other people. I wind up making friends with them and commiserating and fucking around. This probably explains why I also have awful reject secretaries and paralegals working with me.
On the positive side, I just picked up a new suit from the cleaners/tailors and the fresh new silky fabric feels fantastic on my balls, so all is not wrong in the universe.

I'm paralyzed by the irony. I also find myself dangerously attracted to aggressive controlling secretaries, who always end up working out really well. For the 3 months before they get axed. I'm like the Murphy Brown of the NW and I never even liked that show. Merde!

Funny you should say this today and in light of my last post. This is slightly outable but what the hell, we are all pals, platonically, except for slave and less, nttawwt, anyway, I digress.....the point is my secretary and I dressed up as twins for the office Halloween party last weekend and she just sent me the digital shot via email. I will share the pic for a short while but delete it in about an hour.
Enjoy!
Happy Halloween!
That's me on the left. She's height challenged but makes up for it with tenacity!

CNN reads the FB
Yep. Another example of the FB being on the cutting edge of current events...
We discussed it after the Cubs lost after Kerry Wood was on SI and after the Dany Heatley crash (cover of EA Sports NHL 2004).
Edited to add: Weak story, doesn't even point out other sports like baseball (Randy Johnson) or hockey, and totally glosses over the Chunky Soup Jinx, which may be the worst of all.

No wonder you are miserable. Nothing makes a job more miserable then bad support staff.

I like the cute young ones who bullshit with me about local bars and restaurants. I keep getting these fat slothlike Teamster pigs who do nothing and answer the phone rudely. And they're always calling in sick. How much can one person be sick?
Eh, well, I guess it beats the crazy cokehead I had last year who'd come sniffling and with upper respiratory issues every other day and throw temper tantrums when she didn't score at lunch. Or the foul slob who'd tell me she needed two hour lunches every day because she "had a baby to shop for" and then come back and eat a cheesesteak, slice and large sprite at her desk, stinking up the office. Meanwhile, I never once saw her alleged "baby"... but she did look very pregnant all the time.

I am still not on the LeBron bandwagon. He dropped out of summer league after three games because he was too tired. I will be very interested to see how he holds up on an NBA schedule. That said, he has skills. His pass to Davis was a thing of beauty.
I am looking for Melo and the new look Nuggets to set things off.

I watched LeRON with some Lebrondwagoners and I was impressed. However, he's not really a graceful or "pretty" player like Jordan or Magic. Kind of like how Paul Pierce is great but not smooth. He's not as fluid as I expected (except with some passes, which seem more imaginative than smooth). Of course he's only 18. But Magic had it immediately.
But apparently I'm the only one who doesn't think he's that charismatic (on the court)...
