I dunno, it just makes me uncomfortable to view nudity. Perhaps because it is thrown into most movies with no purpose other than to show someone's tits or ass. I just think that some things are better left to be handled privately behind closed doors.

I don't care that other people may watch and enjoy it, that is their business. I just don't like to be watching a movie and have boobies splashed across the screen. And it is true that I have never seen porn so some boob or butt is about all I have seen on film although I recall in Porky's that you could sort of glimpse a bit of penis in one of the locker room scenes -- my mother was kind enough to slo-mo and point it out to me which was, needless to say, uncomfortable for me and therefore joyful for her.

Well, I'm glad you've explained the widespread popularity to me. I was beginning to fear my wife had no taste in movies.

We actually do bond over one pseudo chick flick, Immortal Beloved. that last scene where they play the 9th and Beethoven is shown as a boy running from his father all the way through the climax of the piece, where he stands deaf before a cheering audience is a fantastic piece of cinema. Hell, it nearly brings me to tears.

Well, I don't watch porn with my mother either. Anymore.

How do you fuck? You gotta deal with nudity somewhere. Why not on screen?

Can you go to the beach and view a thong?

I mean, really, think about it... what we're talking about here is some flesh and hair... and 1000 years of hang-ups. If I were king, I'd enforce nudity on my subjects to get over the damage done by religion and sexual insecurities.

curses to be foiled again

"The Australian descendants of a Christian missionary eaten by cannibals 136 years ago will travel to Fiji this week, hoping to help lift a curse on the village where he was killed."

I fuck very well, thank you -- but not in the butt (Hi TM!). My own nudity and that of my kept man doesn't bother me nor did the nudity of other men that I used to bed. I guess just commercial nudity makes me uncomfortable. But I say enjoy if that is what you like --

That and "alot" is actually two words. (Don't know if you have this problem.)

Women don't want to date 36 year old virgins. Shocking, I know, but true.
Hey, neither do most men. Or monkeys.

Even if he doesn't suffer from this particular malady, enough other people do, that it bears mention. Thank you TM, and welcome to the ranks of Timmydom.*

I am way ahead of you - I instituted one back in law school - the most trouble it has caused is a few drooled-on files. -TL

Perhaps this is just an inventive way to get dinner delivered without having to tip the driver? -TL

Actually, I think the FB should start the trend of using "alot" instead of "a lot". I've always felt that the former, while incorrect, is more fluid and pleasing, while the latter is choppy. So since the FB is so cutting edge, we should create another new word. And not one of those gimmicky metrosexual-type words that bloggers like to create. This one makes sense. It's practical. The Bard did this alot.

Speaking for making up words, McJob is now in the dictionary (full story on Salon.com and probably a host of other "news" sites) --

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) -- McDonald's may not be ``lovin' it,'' but the editors of the Merriam-Webster dictionary say ``McJob'' is a word that's here to stay.

The 11th edition of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, published in June, defines a ``McJob'' as ``a low-paying job that requires little skill and provides little opportunity for advancement.''
