I've taken to tuberoses lately. Their fragrance becomes stronger at night, and I find it to be almost intoxicating. They're pretty for the first couple of days, but I keep them longer because the fragrance can last to almost a week and a half.

My mother (and mother-in-law) each received a basket of fruit and chocolate from Harry & Davids -- my father called to thank me because my mother and I do not speak (which goes to show that you should not generalize about what moms appreciate more than anything else because mine would appreciate it if I would fall off the face of the fucking earth and the bitch would probably push me if I was not the mother of her only grandchild). That was painful. Can someone please explain to me why it always falls upon the woman in a relationship to make sure all holidays, special days, etc. are taken care of for both her own family as well as his??? What the fuck, a man can't order a fruit basket on the fucking internet by himself?? oops, was that my outside voice?

I told you before, you need to start labeling your pics as you take them. I'm pretty sure that was Mav helping you into the burrito stand.

My dad is a physician, and he says that he's happy that he has three daughters because he knows that he'll always be taken care of. Daughters and daughters in law, he says, are the ones that spend the most time in the hospital with sick parents. They fight the most for information, make sure that the patient is getting what they think is the proper care, and spend the most hours on the floor. Obviously, he's generalizing, but anecdotally, it does seem to be the case that women take the care giving role on pretty readily.

I thought when you got tuberoses, the point was that you couldn't breathe anymore. It would be very mean for someone to give you that.
I'll be here all week.

I hate flowers, they just die. Wanna thrill me on Mom's day (I am one so I guess I am owed a gift or something). Buy me a case of beer and let me sit in the basement (ALONE) and drink with some cigs watching baseball, playoff hockey and NASCAR all weekend.

Who the fuck let you into my basement fantasy? Well, okay, but we can't get married until this terrible rug burn on my back heals -- that shit hurts when the shower first hits it.
Smartest move I made was putting a fridge in the rec room because now I don't have to travel upstairs for beer and possible run into a fucking person. Second smartest was ordering the NHL Center Ice package on the dish. Third was putting a slide bolt on the INSIDE of the basement door.

Ok then.
You should fall off the fucking earth for mother's day. But you can come back the day after.

Because he has an economic interest in getting people to click on those links. If it was anyone other than Less linking to another site in order to generate profits, I would delete the links as spam.....

Wait a second, Less has ALWAYS linked back to his own posts. I suspect that he has an index somewhere that allows him ready access to the links, just in case he needs to reiterate a previously made point.

What oops? Take no bullshit and make no apologies. It falls upon the woman until you force it back where it belongs. Next time, do the start-up stuff--get the phone number, buy the gift wrap, whatever, then hand it to your partner with a firm "here, [x occasion] is coming up, you need to do [x--send a card, buy a gift]." Then forget about it for this and all future times. If he blows it, it's not your problem. Once he gets a grip on the concept, then you both can trade off/do favors if you're really busy, you work right next to a mall, etc.

You're getting a little carried away, MR. Take a deep breath and look in the mirror. Say to yourself, "I'm still just MR. I'm still just MR."
Isn't that an admin decision anyway? Didn't you say you were voluntarily removing yourself from the list of admins after we were up and running? How deep into your sick little brain did the limited power from the delete button sink?

Bilmore, I didn't know you were a dead, English gay guy, who was once a milkman in Hampshire.
