I thought pretty much all movie theaters had stadium seating now. I love going to the movies, but except for kiddie films, we see only maybe two or three a year (which is why I'm so disappointed I wasted a night out on Chicago). Tix, popcorn, a modest dinner and a sitter add up.

Last movie--Agent Cody Banks. Next movie--What a Girls Wants.

Oh, and whyizzit that considering we hardly ever see a new movie, we can never find anything we want to rent?
Is it wrong that even though I don't have kids I really want to see What a Girl Wants b/c it stars Colin Firth?

After you see it, let me know if someone who loves Colin Firth should go, or if I should wait and rent it or if I should just shoot myself for being so lame in the first place.

Love that show. Though am glad Brenda has been (though apparently not for much longer) out of the pitcher. Of course upcoming episodes will feature Nate's inexorable pull back to Brenda, so I suppose the respite won't last.

If that's wrong, I don't want to be right!

And, call me wussy, but I don't think if I were a flight attendant I could wear stilletos on the job. Ouch.

Heck no - I'm going and have no kids (also saw Bridget Jones for the same reason).

I would think that as far as flight attendants go, small stature would be a positive attribute. Why would you need to be over 5 feet tall to be a flight attendant? As long as you can reach the top of the drinks cart, I'm happy.

Hell, I won't wear 'em for two minutes in a shoe store, but I'd rather do that break and regrow my legs.

And if these women are otherwise proportionate, doesn't lengthening just their legs make them look like short-waisted short-armed little mutants?

In the pictures they showed the women didn't look all that weird, except for the pained expressions on their faces. They lengthen the femur by about one or two inches and the fibula/tibia by about one or two inches. However, many experience problems with uneven growth.

I forgot to add that the cost of the procedure was something like double the average household income. So one would have to beat the odds and become wealthy despite their small stature in order to become taller, and thus more powerful and beautiful.

Hmm, so the women who go through that stomach stapling surgery here to lose weight are cake walking (ha, ha, I kill me), in comparison of pain?

As my contracts professor used to say, "Tell it on the mountain!"

Mr. Darcy.... swoon. (I couldn't find the right smiley to convey "swoon" -- and I thought there was one of those for EVERYTHING!)

So, owing to the deficiency of a smiley for "swoon", this will have to do:

(Drooling is a sure-fire way to snag the Mr. Darcies of this world...)

Stomach stapling is painful? I didn't realize that. I though it was only if you overate -- you know, like, did something crazy like eat an entire apple in one sitting.

I'd rather get giant butt implants like that woman on that pathetic website someone posted yesterday than get an operation that would interfere with my ability to eat a simple brownie. What the hell are people thinking?

Y'all are always bitching about short people and their umbrellas. You folks need to be a little more aware too is all I'm sayin here.
My brother is 6'6" - I will remind him not to step on you. I am easily 6'+ in heels, so I will try to remember also. Short people ask me to reach things for them in the store on a regular basis, but I don't mind - I'm just glad I don't have to ask other people to reach for my stuff.

In the fall I fully expect to be mistaken for a knocked-up Amazon.
