Not that I know of. If they did, the cops didn't call us. And my mom never mentioned it, so it wasn't in the paper, which she read religiously.

2) WTF are acrobatics? Gymnastics or cirque du soleil stuff.
Mostly just tumbling. It's like a secret for parents -- a way to get all that extra energy out of kids in the form of somersaults. Now, they just use prozac, soma for kids.

I don't get too bugged by movies but Ring had me watching the phone for awhile.

I was trying to figure out how you were sure that our little female friends were gay. I see that they are napping together, but they are siblings after all. Then I got it. Eaters of gay flesh. Good.

huh? wha? me? nahhh. No socks. No underwear (friday). Just been busy -- so much for the economy sucking.

Thrashers are kicking ass (but not last night, but almost there at the end). Sabres beat up on Toronto -- schweet

Sucked that the race was rained out on Sunday but it meant I got to play hookey (not hockey) on Monday and drink during the day on a non-weekend.

Saw "Wrong Turn" this past weekend too -- totally worth it. Deformed in-bred West Virginia mountain folk who kill unsuspecting travelers. Sort of Texas Chainsaw Massacre-ish but still very good.

I predict the Bills will not get their asses kicked this week -- thank god for bye weeks. Wish I could say the same for the Falcons -- but they'd get beat during a bye week anyway.

I hope thems that was bitching here about the Red Sox when Manny behaved badly (was it showing up the A's in Oakland?) will give the team a little credit for putting him on waivers. Even if no one takes him, they can tell him to stop complaining about wanting to play somewhere else -- at that salary, no one wants him.

Which apparentlyleads to suicide in some cases. I guess once they're no longer depressed, they have the energy to bump themselves.

Does anyone know when the orbitz addresses got stolen? (http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/interne....ap/index.html)

I started getting tons of spam a few weeks ago. Apparently I want to date a Christian (and someone keeps seeing me at church, but that's gotta be a ghost or a doppelganger), am dissatisfied with the size of my breasts, am African-American and am desperate to find African-American books, and in addition to wanting to date a Christian just generally want to date.

Other than pumping up my breasts, I haven't gotten porn stuff.

Why thank you. You will be spared in the impending monkey revolution, and given a nice title and no power.

All analysis is in retrospect, isn't it? I only rarely offer analysis on things I haven't seen yet (though, admittedly, I do it on occasion).

I saw Ringu first, then Ring, then Ringu again. (You will not believe the bullshit I had to go through to get an area 2 copy of Ringu, and then shanghai an all-areas DVD player from a techie friend to watch it.) If you know anything about me by now, it is that I am one serious student of horror films.

I thought Ring was scarier while I was watching it. Ringu disturbed my sleep for longer, and kept me thinking longer. I was very glad, though, I did not see the Ring on video at home on my TV.

I have to say, the web promotion campaign for the Ring was pretty good, though. Best I've seen since AI.

That and the offense he took at the high pitch that was out over the plate from Clemens that sparked the bench-clearing crap.

Good for them. Although, we both know it's not the pointing at the dugout after hitting a home run that makes the sox want to get rid of him. It's the refusing to play, pretending to be too sick to pinch hit and saying midseason that he wanted to play for the Yankees.

Besides, they're just dangling him as trade bait right now. No one will take on that contract. If they want to get rid of him, they'll have to trade him and eat a large part of his contract.

Wow -- I hadn't heard about that. Maybe that's why I suddenly started getting emails about getting my precription renewed, refinancing my house, and asking me to join a "buying club" (whatever the hell that is).

Oh, and like a few others, I decided to get a scary Halloween avatar, too. Boo!
