Speak for yourself, Mr. Hand. And really I think it is better described as a pillar candle.

So would YOU drink this from a can?
Once the domain of beef broth and soy milk, look for wine in a Tetra Pak, soon to be on shelves near you.
Reports are that Boone's Farm, realizing that its turf has shrunk to the size of a postage stamp, has simply surrendered.
Judgment of the board -- toolish? Non-toolish? Is this akin to driving a Mini?

For some reason, people with cute accents seem to be able to pull off being obnoxious far better than those with, let's say Queens or Boston accents.
What is the appropriate way to respond to a 60-year-old friend of the family who smacks you on the butt and tells you that you're looking like a fatty?

Smack her in the face with an anvil.

The article also states that they are marketing wine in aluminum cans. I would never drink wine from an aluminum can. Unless it was the only thing left at the bottom of the cooler.

Wine in a tetra pak has been available in Canada since the late 80's. I should know. It's generally really really bad wine.
However, the other night we were served wine with a screw cap. It is apparently the new thing - it preserves the wine better than cork. Or so the waiter at Applebees said.

A guy at Wine Spectator has been pushing the screw cap concept for some time. I'm a fan of the new non-cork corks. BUt that is only becuase I suck at opening wine and I haven't figured out a way to destroy the fake corks and end up with fake cork floaties in the wine yet. I'm sure I'll find a way. Given enough time and alcohol.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
