He finished in just over 4 hours. Not bad. I'm just wondering, was the mohawk aerodynamic?

One story reported he was helped by his "I heart New York" Breath-Right nose strip.

Shades of Lovecraft again. I'm telling you, this board is on the leading edge of the zeitgeist.

Not as aerodynamic as shaving one's head.

Sexual deviants who go through real treatment (skinnerian behavior modification, not that yippy hippy talking crap) have some of the lowest rates of recidivism compared to other criminals. Unfortunately, liberals don't like it when you hook sensors up to someone's cock, show them deviant images, then shoot blasts of amonia up their nose if they get an erection. It is a little too clockwork orange for their sensibilities. But I agree that chemical castration and "share your feelings with the group" type shit is almost completely worthless.
I used to have a client that was a forensic psychiatrist that specializes in adiction medicine and some sex offenses. He would do screenings of sex offenders for parole hearings. He says that there are some very good drugs out there to rewire the brain and the sexual impulses that some of the sex predators have. Treatment works for some of them, doesn't for others.

If the only problem they have is sexual, then yes, there are some very effective treatments. If the person is a sick puppy in all aspects of his life, then he may not be as good a candidate for treatment. The otherwise well-adjusted executive who has deviant thoughts is easier to cure than the schizophrenic drifter who is addicted to heroine, lives under a bridge and has been attacking people since he was 14.

I think I could cure those guys too, but then again I am good with that pysch shit. All I need is some car batteries, jumper cables, and immunity from prosecution and I could cure just about anything from chain smoking to serial killers. Forget the meds! It's not about the dosage, it's about the voltage.

Ralphie May

in case people were wondering about the latest fat comedian to enter the scene...

Although he didn't win, post-Last Comic Standing, comedian Ralphie May is doing well: He has a DVD coming out ("the first double-disc for a comedian"), a sit-com development deal, and a gig on the Strip in Las Vegas. He tells the Las-Vegas Review Journal that "after the show, I became that family at Christmas that gets robbed, and the whole community comes together and builds them a house." Until Nov. 16, he's headlining a show at the Sahara that will also feature fellow contestants Ant and Rob Cantrell, in addition to Lahna Turner, Ralphie's girlfriend. After the show ends, he'll undergo gastric bypass surgery. [realityblurred.com]

So instead of locking up the deviants, we put them to work doing what they enjoy?

Criminal Element

Just catching up

Run-ins with illegal shit/crime (in no particular order)

1. Unconsensual sexual activity combined with a minor beating.
2. Was involved in a DEA sting. Thank god the dumbass in the back seat with me claimed all the shit because the agents were ready to take me to where a "matron" could do a search <shudder> if they found anything else in the car.
3. Numerous bar/club/concert/sporting event fights.
4. Jumped and beaten more than a few times -- never for money though.
5. Dated a guy who was one of the many pit stops for drugs between Canada and the streets of America. You see some interesting shit that makes you never ever ever want to do drugs again (at least anything that gets mixed, cut or made in a lab).
6. Fleeing and eluding.
7. One riot event where the cops actually closed down a numer of city blocks to control it. I fled from that one kinda early on when I noticed blunt instruments being used and knew guns were not far behind.
8. Some other minor shit. Some of it in Canada and some of it here. That Canadian shit is scary when you realize that they don't give a crap that you are American.

No criminal record. No actual arrests. Then I turned 18, started college and grew up.

Dude, you crack me up. I was trying to explain your moniker/avatar to the Mr. over the weekend, in connection with a discussion we were having over Salic law and the significance of the Merovingians generally (don't ask).

Suffice it to say, we ended up spending the rest of the weekend looking at each other and saying "Fetch me stronger ale! And some plump succulent babies to eat!" and cracking our shit up.
