I assume that the people who are on my level will be a lot like me, and I am a remarkably likeable fellow. For a lawyer.

I think that's mostly what we do on 2. Moaning-sighs, that is, not gloomy ones, which you can find on 5.

So, what you're saying is that you really belong with the Heretics on Level 6?

Good article. The headline makes no sense though. "The Big Hurt = Best Ever?" I guess it's just supposed to get your attention since the article's main point is "Frank Thomas is the greatest organically-grown hitter of his generation."
My point was more that he was an ass, though. A selfish stats guy. I give him his due when it comes to playing the game. He can hit and has a great eye. But I'd take Pujols over him any day. Even still, that's elite company.

Isn't the 6th for the non-believers?

If you believe in God, you should have seen it coming.

*exception - two assjacks who were calling my friend a "faggot" repeatedly on our way out of the stadium and who apparently don't know what homophobe means or that saying "control your bitch" to Mr. Man is unlikely to elicit much of a response (though my girlfriend and I loved the line and will use it from now on as often as possible).

At least it didn't rain.
And y'all played a hell of a 4th quarter. There was a suite behind us full, FULL of Giant's fans. They had a sign in front of it before the game, but it disappeared by game time. They got pretty vocal in the 4th quarter. I thought we were going to "Eagle" it, good thing we had a 39 point lead.
I apologize for any assjacks you encountered, but there are assjacks in every stadium. I think they travel.

The sweet light no longer strikes against your eyes. Your shade has been banished to... the Second Level of Hell!
Second Level of Hell
You have come to a place mute of all light, where the wind bellows as the sea does in a tempest. This is the realm where the lustful spend eternity. Here, sinners are blown around endlessly by the unforgiving winds of unquenchable desire as punishment for their transgressions. The infernal hurricane that never rests hurtles the spirits onward in its rapine, whirling them round, and smiting, it molests them. You have betrayed reason at the behest of your appetite for pleasure, and so here you are doomed to remain. Cleopatra and Helen of Troy are two that share in your fate.
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
(Click on a level for more info)
Level Who are sent there? Score
Purgatory Repenting Believers High
Level 1 - Limbo Virtuous Non-Believers Very Low
Level 2 Lustful Very High
Level 3 Gluttonous Low
Level 4 Prodigal and Avaricious Moderate
Level 5 Wrathful and Gloomy Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis Heretics Very Low
Level 7 Violent High
Level 8- the Malebolge Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers High
Level 9 - Cocytus Treacherous Moderate

So, apparently I make Purgatory because I go to Mass and repent my sins, but I still get "Very High" marks for Lustfulness and "High" marks for being a malicious panderer.
On the good side, Heaven. On the bad side, Helen of Troy and Cleopatra are at the second level, where I might have ended up if I just repented less for my sins.
Quote:
Your fate has been decided....
You are one of the lucky ones! Because of your virtue and beliefs, you have escaped eternal punishment. You are sent to Purgatory!
Purgatory
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.
