CNN has a more tame pictured of a fork-ed tongued one:
CNN
Nasty, but far less, and I mean far less, nasty than that bmezine site. That's some seriously fucked up shit. The funniest part (which isn't hard) of the site, was the guiding principles section, which essentially was saying "we are not freaks; we just want to be loved." Thank god we stopped with Edward Scissorhands. What woudl have been next? Peter Penis Extender?

But I like the fact that the author points out every obnoxious thing done by every black reality show contestant ever (and I can, of course, name ten times as many bad-behaving white contestants) and blames their behavior on the network -- how dare the network actually air footage of minorities acting inappropriately? Never mind the fact that the networks salivate over getting anybody to act like a jackass to improve the "quality" of their reality shows.
I think there is a good argument to be made for invidious (or maybe not so invidious) racism in reality tv, but that author did not make the argument.
Specifically, the casting of black people on Survivor has always looked suspicious to me because just about every damn black person they cast just so happens to extremely religious -- no stereotypes there, huh? Also, almost every black male contestant has been edited to look lazy. And I DO believe that editing is a key component of this -- I'm sure that every survivor contestant takes naps on a regular basis, but only the shots of Gervaise, Sean, Nick and Clarence seemed to make it into the final cuts of the episodes.
And if it's only racist white American voters voting in American Idol, how come there are 1 1/2 black people left in the competition, while the overal ratio of blacks to whites is much much lower?
That said, Tamyra Grey was a travesty. But she is better off for losing.
|
That's because blacks sing much better than whites.
Also, Ted appeared neither lazy nor shiftless in Survivor 5. He was shucking and jiving quite a bit though. In all seriousness, Ted came off poorly, but only in the sense that he, Helen and Jan were too moronic to team up and overthrow the Brian & Clay power and let themselves get picked off. D-u-m-m.

Hmm. That sucks for her. Have any of the women here had that happen with the pill? My sister and several friends have complained to me over the years about pill-related problems from weight gain to cramps to unwanted pregnancies (which I attributed to them not taking it at consistent times). Must say I've never had any problems with it... I rather like it and it would suck if it did any of those things to me.
Those who don't take it, what decent alternatives are there?

Show-off. (By that I mean, bee-yotch.)
With the pill, Xtina's change in appearance, and her obliviousness, are more understandable.
I have had very extreme reactions to the pill when I have tried it over the years. Switching made little difference -- it only prolonged the agony.

Have a kid and that will scare the bejesus out of you and your mate so much that neither of you will produce the necessary "stuff" to get preggers and you can then fuck at will. Either that or slip a baggie over his thingy and secure it with a rubber band around the scroatsack -- that oughta keep them little buggers away from your precious eggs. Obviously, the most secure method besides abstinence is fucking a member of your own sex -- because I am not willing to do either he pulls and I pray and we are both thankful that the "cure" is still legal if we ever need it.

I don't know her, and she may be a lovely person and not the skank that she projects. From appearances, however, it seems that most guys would seriously consider double bagging before fucking her. The Pill seems therefore superfluous.

Why is that? Does that apply to female circumcision as well?
Someone had to be the first guy to say to himself, hmm, I think I'll put this big ass thing in the hole in my ear and it will look good. And all you people will do the same thing because I think it looks good and you have to do the same thing.

When we drag ten-year-old future bikers into the tat parlors screaming and writhing, and then cut off the end of their penii because we want them to look like "us", and so they won't enjoy sex, then, yes, it will be "just like female circumcision".

In other great reality news, Trista's dream (as told to Oprah) of a private, special wedding to Ryan will come true when ABC airs its 4-hour special documenting the nuptials.

I know this is akin to heresy, but I thought Ruben bit last night. He was boooring. Where Kimberley has shown tremendous growth vocally and aesthetically and Clay made a real effort to stop winking, Ruben just does the same shit week after week. Everything he sings sounds the same to me. Not that he isn't talented, but he's dull.
Clay has the best voice in the competition, but he's not Idol material. Someone please give this boy a recording contract so he can put together a CD of ballads and show tunes. It won't go platinum, but it will make a profit.
Kimberley has the most star quality of the three. She should win. She won't, but she should.
